Fnac — Local services in Paris

fnac montparnasse and m&s montparmasse share a coffee shop - more on the m&s side - where you can sit and rad books or code etc. charge anything with usb. They do not have a laptop charger (meaning non usb / wall, so I drop one star dor this) the coffee shop is less comfortable than starbucks but no one bothers you if you want to sit there and code. It's calmer than the whole montparnasse thing too. They have cool viennoiserie & coffee (much better than starbucks). If you are bored you may go to Fnac and 'te balader' in the gadget store, then come back and continue whatever you were doing. So overall nice place for people...

Suite à une mauvaise expérience, je suis dans l’obligation de mettre trois étoiles. J’ai l’habitude de me rendre ici, mais pour une fois, j’ai eu besoin de l’aide d’un vendeur et il a été désagréable. Je suis arrivé pour lui demander quelque chose, je lui ai dit plusieurs fois « bonjour » et « excusez-moi », je n’ai pas eu de réponse. Par la suite, il s’est retourné et m’a regardé en attendant que je lui demande ce dont j’avais me dire un seul mot, donc il n’a pas pris la peine de me dire « bonjour ». Je lui ai expliqué ce dont j’avais besoin gentiment et il m’a simplement répondu « y’a pas », puis il est reparti, sans un au revoir, rien.

En revanche, au-delà de cette mauvaise expérience, quand je compte prendre le train, je m’arrête souvent dans cette Fnac pour prendre un livre, ou regarder les nouveautés. Ce magasin contient énormément de nouveautés alors que c’est un magasin assez petit, et cela permet donc de lire certains livres qui viennent d’être publiés. Néanmoins, il est appréciable de constater que certains classiques sont quand même présents.

En ce qui concerne le côté technologie, les nouveaux téléphones sont souvent exposés, ce qui est étonnant. De plus, les coques de téléphones pour les anciens modèles sont fréquemment mises en vente à prix réduit. Une fois, j’avais perdu mon câble pour charger mon téléphone et je fus heureux de trouver un câble tressé en USB-C. Ainsi, bien que cette Fnac ne soit pas gigantesque, elle propose ce qui est...

It is with great disappointment that we were sold an empty Apple watch box by Fnac Gare Montparnasse, on our way to Tours we bought a watch and only opened it on our return to South Africa we opened the box only to find it was empty and apparently the box for the unit on show room floor, this is now attracting 50 Euros in courier charges to send back the box and we still do not have a watch, we are now at the mercy of Fnac.still we have not received a replacement watch 3...
