Caffe Soprano — Restaurant in Paris

Just had lunch here. Not a great experience. Taking into account they were very busy, I waited 15 minutes before anyone spoke to me. My server only spoke to me because my neighbors at another table got the attention of a another server. She looked at us like we were crazy. She was not my server, but instead of acknowledging us, she just stared at us. Bizarre. Eventually, my server appeared and took my order. He was kind, but under water. There seemed to be only two servers for about about 75 guests. I had a caprese pizza and glass of wine. The pizza was cold. Like, the mozzarella was clearly just barely out of the fridge.The crust and sauce were, at best, tepid. I think maybe they cook the crusts in advance, because the crust was cooked through, and add toppings after the fact. I suppose it should have been warmed up at least. Still, the whole thing was cold. It's a shame, because the pizza was tasty. Yes, I ate it. I was hungry and I didn't have time to go elsewhere. Here's a photo. Looks better than it was. So the beer good, the pizza truffle good. The service was fine no big deal. The lady was nice and chill, one guy who apparently had our section was a bit Parisian and upset my wife a bit but seriously it could go either way and yeah I don't know, I care not to argue of petty things. Setting is nice and prices are Parisian. I heard other tables complain about waiting for their server so that might get on your nerves but if you are there to chill and have a beer then chill. Why do servers need to be there for any moment you need something right away. They do serve more than your table. Sometimes 5 to 8 or 9 maybe 10 at a time. Stop going out to relax and bring all your stress on others. Drink your beer and if you need a new one immediately then get up and go to the bar. Good place go and...

Always a great time at this restaurant, great café to sit and work at during the afternoon, but will be busy for dinner although still very cosy, you may have to wait for a table during the high season but they never pressed us and you can take your time. I've always been very welcomed the and they value returning customers. Plenty of outside sitting, in or out the heated terrasse, and thanks to its location on three little square, you are away from car traffic. Food is always delicious, i am yet to be disappointed by a dish. I recommend the tiramisu, the Tony pizza, and the grilled fish ! But...
