Starter: Prosciutto S. Daniele: good as usual - especially if you are into a bit saltier prosciutto. Mozzarella: rancid, outer layers dried out (past expiration date?). The latter was visible, don’t understand why it was served in the first place. Mains: Tagliata: ordered medium, arrived medium-well (to be kind, could also call it well done). Taste was dull. Pappardelle Gorgonzola: had no taste whatsoever, which is a result rather difficult to achieve using Gorgonzola. Maybe a tiny bit of Gorgonzola with a lot of cream and no salt whatsoever?
Mozzarella went back to the kitchen basically untouched, ate about half the mains (just enough to not feel like we’re starving any longer). Waiters knew better than asking whether the food was fine.
For rather obvious reasons we didn’t order any desserts, so can’t comment on their quality.
Went there because the sister restaurant had a Michelin Plat recommendation. This place certainly does not deserve any recommendation whatsoever.

Read moreWe've been coming here for years. I get the pasta aglio e olio, it's pasta plus garlic very simple but it has to be cooked. That it's on the menu and they have someone to cook an individual serving says it all. We showed up the other night, my wife daughter and I, I ordered the aglio e olio, we were early around 7 and they took us outside, no reservation, and BOOM the drinks wine house sparkling water arrived, and then the plates. Great bread, focaccia too. The razor thin Maître D with baseball cap was juggling all this to perfection like a SWAT team. It was filling up but they were serving everyone! There's one thing we hate about eating out. And it's the wait to order. The tension before you order is like a Hitchcock movie. Will they let us eat? WILL we eat at all? Not here! What can I say. It's a local favorite. Let's hope no one reads this! Great outside and...
Read moreThe place itself is absolutely lovely – beautiful decor, a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and truly outstanding service. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel taken care of from the moment we walked in.
Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. The pasta dishes were dry, bland, and tasted as if they hadn’t been seasoned at all – very far from what you’d expect from Italian cuisine. Pastas absolutely the worst part of it all.
It’s a real shame, because the setting and service are top-notch, but the kitchen just doesn’t live up to the rest. A big disappointment, especially for anyone coming in with expectations of a genuine Italian...
