If you're coming here for a weekend brunch, bring a lot of patience with you (or reserve a table, then you're fine!) We decided to try our luck, were seated at the bar as we haven't reserved but were completely ignored for the longest time until someone finally took our order (therefore the 1 star reduction). For the food, we had the egg sandwiches (which were tasty), the fritata (which was too big of a portion with the same taste throughout) & the pancakes (which we really enjoyed!). I was really happy about the tea of great quality & tasting a sip of the pumpkin spice latte, it seemed to be really delicious too! Another star reduction from me would be for the prices, which are extremely high, even for Paris. But to end on a positive note, the paying system is absolutely amazing!!!!! You just scan a QR code on your table when you're ready to leave & you can separate the bill as you like, definitely an innovation I'd love to see more...

We ordered two shakhukas and two juices — simple enough, yet the waitress still got confused. She insisted we were entitled to a free hot drink even though we didn’t take the brunch menu. When my friend asked for her cappuccino after the meal, that was apparently too hard to understand — it came immediately.
The food was a disaster. For 22€, we got a shakhuka with one undercooked egg, no sauce, and a pile of soggy broccoli and courgette. Nothing like a real shakhuka.
At the end, they couldn’t even get our bill right. First they tried to charge the full brunch formula we never ordered and then they tried to charge us for the hot drinks. When I explained what their waitress had said that we can get hot drinks for free, they were rude, blamed us, and argued until I pushed back firmly.
No apology. No accountability. Just a stressful, unpleasant experience from...
Read moreThe service was great. The waitresses were all very nice and professional. The only 3 stars is due to the food. My friend and I ordered the ceviche to share and it was flavorless. The fish was fresh which is good but the execution has to be revisited. I ordered the occhietta ‘n cheese and a side of broccolini. The greens were good. The Mac ‘n cheese was a great promise with the tome d’Ambert, but again quite disappointing in the execution. It was missing some fun and punch in it. Loved the idea of mixing different cultures in a plate. I was expecting tasting the tome, but didn’t. The dessert pot de crème, the original recipe from Gjelina was very good. I definitely finished the dinner on a high note! I paid 45€ for the meal including a glass of white wine. I found it to be expensive for what it was. I love the concept, especially after just coming back from living 5 years in LA. But it still needs some work...
