The experience of “Chez Ann” begins before even stepping through the door. Walking down the street, looking for this establishment, you come across a sign that seems to indicate you’ve found the place: “Asian Urban Food.” It’s simple, somewhat vague, but cute. Walk up and you’ll meet the façade that reveals you’ve made it to “Chez Ann,” revealing the quaint, small locale where the kitchen almost flows into the guest area. It’s cozy with warm colors, and it lives up the “Chez” in its name. It’s like you’re walking into someone’s home.
The menu is just like the food here: deceptively simple. It gives no insight into what you’ll be ordering other than the product name, ingredients, and price. If you’re unfamiliar with their menu items, it’s an exciting mystery to order something. Even though I ordered to take out, the coziness of Chez Ann came in the containers of food and the paper bag holding them. The food is not that filling as other places may be for the same price, but it leaves nothing...

These dumplings are fantastic! To be honest, they are the best gluten-free dumplings I have ever had. My husband and I ate every gluten-free dumpling on the menu. Others might want to restrain a tiny bit but no need. All delicious.
We came at 7 PM for dinner. We had reservations and received easily. Several other people were walk-ins. By 7:30 PM they were full. There were small children who came with their parents and they did really well. I saw someone who came for takeaway.
Super wait personnel who spoke French, English and Mandarin Chinese. They know their stuff and made sure I was safe. I...
Read moreWe were here for lunch the first time. My friend knows Chinese food quite well and both of us can tell if you want some proper Chinese dim sum, this is not where you should go. However, it's good for anyone who like gluten free, vegetarian, hearty food etc and wanna try something Asian... I would recommend this to those who would like to take the first step to Asian food. The environment is cozy and the price is reasonable in Paris. Not for those who want real...
