We come from Hong Kong, and it's frankly our first time to visit Paris and try French cuisine. I was attracted to the store by the colorful pictures on the menu, especially the duck confit de canard right outside as one of the signatures.
The boss and the waiter that evening were extremely nice and welcoming, and we felt at ease throughout the meal, with the waiter being super entertaining and sincere. He recommended us the starter Onion Soup and escargots, the plats - salmon and beef flank with fries, and the dessert of the day, which all exceeded our expectations of French cuisines. The duck confit de canard and creme brulee is another highlight as they are so far the best we have ever tasted!!!!!! I would say the dishes are the epitome of French cuisine:)))) The waiter even offered to take pretty pictures for our family from different perspectives, demonstrating his professionalism and enthusiasm in serving customers.
I highly recommend this restaurant to everybody, regardless of whether it's your first time to visit Paris or the first time to try French cuisine. It always surprises you! Thanks Cabaret Chez Ma Cousine for giving us this memorable dining experience💕💕 Will definitely go again next time we...
Read moreThis place has the worst service ever! We came in to order our thinking this place was amazing, the owner talked his menu card up like it was really amazing food. It took us over an hour to receive our food. We asked the server where our food was after waiting one hour and it came out seconds after that. The entrecôte was basically all fat, worst steak I've eaten in my entire life. We ordered the 16,50 menu. It comes with appetizer, one main course and a desert. We sent out food back to the kitchen, after eating for an hour for our food eating our burnt French soup and filling up on bread we didn't want anything else off of he menu. We thank them for the service but we didn't want anything else off of the menu. the owner came out and told us he was angry and that we are just tourists. Basically telling us our service doesn't matter. As the serves were talking underneath their breath saying rude things. Bringing out our bill they added on 2 euros extra because they wanted to. We told them it wasn't right and that we would like to pay for our soups but not extra things. The owner continued to argue with us being very disrespectful. I RECOMMEND NEVER to go here.!!!! Tourists or not no one should be...
Read moreThe food is really bad, not even edible. Two friends and I went there because Sab'on requires the reservation and we didn't make one. So we end up here. We ordered the daily menu. I had veggie soup, which was very salty. Not much veggie chunks in the soup. I had roti chicken leg as main dish. One friend ordered curry fish with rice, and the other was steak with fries. The one who ordered fish couldn't even finish it, but she is not picky person. She said this is the worst meal since she steps in Paris. My chicken leg was lacked of flavor, but still edible. The steak was just okay, but over-cooked. The dessert I ordered is fruit tart. I thought this would be safe, but I put one bite in my mouth, then I never put another in ever. My friends didn't finish their desserts either. We walked out disappointingly. The restaurant is located in busy tourist attraction. I guess once you step in once, you probably won't have chance to revisit ever if you...
