Came here for dinner based on the good online reviews and the good vibes of the outdoor seating area. Regarding food, it's the worst French meal in my life. Pate tasted so funny that after one bite we had to throw it away. Onion soup was very dark and bitter due to burnt onion. Other dishes were very mediocre. The worst part of dining here was the security of your personal belongings! I left my iPhone on the table while dining outside. A very sketchy old man came by very close to our table several times. After the second to last time he came, we were notified by our kind neighboring guests that he was STARING at my smartphone while passing! So I took the phone and put it in my pocket immediately. The sketchy old man came again and for the last time. He desperately came right towards our table, maybe surprised at the fact that my phone was no longer there. He came so close to us that we almost thought he could hurt us, so we bounced off our table and into our neighboring table. Luckily he left without touching us or our table. Other guests also noticed this rude behavior and some waitresses saw too. But few waitresses speak English and NONE apologized to us for our experience or had previously warned us of the weirdos/thieves in the neighborhood and keeping phones off tables. The story didn't just end here. Right before we were leaving, a very sketchy and witch-looking old lady came by the restaurant and stared at us and our table for a few seconds. We speculated that she was the old man's accomplice. We quickly left the restaurant and Montmartre afterwards.

If you still want to come here for their terrible or inconsistent food, watch out for your...

We had a crepe and a tea. The crepe was alright, though the sauce that came with it definitely came from a cheap store-bought bottle (caramel). As for the tea, we got a big pot (luckily) with one bag of one of the cheapest store brands that when infused had no flavour at all. The price of two crepes and two teas was 22,50 euros! I understand that it's a touristy spot but that is simply outrageous. On top of that, the service was not great. When I asked for the bill, the guy told me I had to ask my waiter, I get that but there was almost nobody on the terrace and he wasn't doing anything. After 20 minutes, we finally had to go inside to pay. Will never return to this place. Also, the music was weird, so kind of musical music? A tad dramatic...

Really tourist friendly and pretty Restaurant. I was in a bit of a rush and nervous but there was this bald waiter with black ear piercings and he was really nice, my classmates found him nice as well. I was there with my friends asking for a take away, it was a complicated dish but they made it happen anyway! I had to reunite with my class which is why I couldn’t eat here. I was visiting Paris because of a class trip which is why I wanted something special to eat. They also gave me a spoon to go, my teachers were surprised but thought my food looked yummy too.

The waiter was very friendly, quick and helpful (for example when recommending wine). Unfortunately, the food ranged between acceptable and disappointing. We just had some small things to try: Escargots and Poached Eggs in Parmesan sauce. Although both were very well-seasoned, I gotta say that the Escargots were nearly impossible to get out and the eggs arrived in a cute little pot but were unfortunately cold nevertheless. Also, the bread was very tough and definitely old. Maybe I didn't understand something, but I had a so-so time.

Big portions. Acceptable food. We were unlucky to have met one extremely rude staff whom were utterly unapologetic of the late arrival of food (the couple who ordered at the same time with us finished the food and left before our food arrived). We were not asked about whether the food was good and were not given a bread basket. Price is high but expectable with its location. Keep your expectations low not to be disappointed should you meet an unfriendly waitress. If not, the experience should be decent.
