A friend of mine made that booking, and I had no idea what to expect. This place is very quaint and current looking (the decor is definitely of the moment), and they have a very limited seating capacity, so booking seems recommended. It looks nice. It is an italian place, but I would call it more an italian-french fusion. The food was very fresh, with a limited menu, which I prefer (5 starters, 5 dishes, 5 desserts), with some vegetarian options (only one vegan option). I got some fish and potatoes which maybe didn’t sound the most excited but turned out very fresh and had a lot of surprising seasonings, and it wasn’t basic at all. We also shared two starters which were burrata and some zucchini fritters, and these were particularly splendid. Each starter was 8-9 and my dish was 18. A glass of wine varied but the range was 6-11w The service was very good too. I was impressed because we got wine by the glass and everyone got to taste before getting the whole glass. This kind of service is unusual in Paris for the price range. The staff were very accommodating. I also forgot my bag and they called us directly. It was a very good surprise. One last note : we spoke pretty loud and I could tell other people were a bit disturbed due to the size of the restaurant. If you know you’re going to be loud,...

Very nice and not-cramped restaurant, few tables with spacious seating, wood decor, simple and heartwarming ! The owner (Diego) is a super friendly Italian from Parma, he handles the bar, his wife is the kitchen boss (super friendly as well, graced me with the honour of best client of the week ;) We tried the 3 brunch main courses, and they were all 3 DELICIOUS ! Eggs with salmon, potato galette with cream cheese. My favourite was the bun with mozzarella and coppa di parma ; incredibly tasty and the 3rd and most original was pupkin pancakes with cheese, topped with beets and salad ! Simple, tasty, and copious ! Their juices were really good too ; I tried the refreshing apple, cucumber, lemon shake ! A must try address, e !ven if to grab a...
Read moreAt 11, rue du Pas de la Mule in Paris is a place dedicated to conviviality and conversation, reminiscent of the famous Venetian inns of the eighteenth century. For this tavern Marais is wide like a theater stage and big enough to house a casino in which Marina Morosini, mistress of Casanova and M. de Bernis served exquisite food and fine wines. And indeed sipping Bellini, Negroni or Spritz while sharing platters of Negrini mortadella, pizza filled with black truffle cream, irresistible ham fritters made according to ages-old family recipes, is an inevitable prelude to love and eroticism. All of which could only make the Count of Saint-Germain come back to compete in pleasures with the Knight...
