Dudule — Restaurant in Paris

It was the first meal we had on our first day in Paris and luckily they were not bad. The only dish we didn't enjoy was the risotto mainly due to our own taste and preferences. Although their snails were a bit pricey especially to foreigners, but they were good!

At first we thought we wasn't welcomed as no one was asking us in / how many people, but perhaps it's due to the language barriers and we wasn't really sure how french restaurants work in terms of services (whether we wait for waiters to come or we choose our own seats). After we got settled down, the services were surprisingly good!

The waitress with a braided hair (unsure of her name) who took our order asked us whether we wanted dessert at the end of our meal but due to my family not being able to understand English fully, I repeated what she said to my family and she mistakenly thought I was correcting her pronunciation 🥲. If the owner is reading this, please show her this and let her know that her service is superb and so is her English!!! I could tell that she was a bit frustrated / upset but we were rushing to other places and I left without getting the chance to explain...

Dudule it was a nice and convenient restaurant because we were staying just across the road in Place d'Italie. It's a nice cosy French restaurant, the staff doesn't know much English but we know a bit of French so we managed. We ate there twice, first time we have the plate for two from the picture and the second we ate breakfast which was a lot, I don't have a picture but it is a full meal with everything. The weird thing was that the first time the coffee was great (capucino) and the second not at all, even if I ordered the same, but it wasn't so bad either. All in all, I recommend this restaurant, the food is great, the prices ok and it's away from all touristy places, overrated and crowded. If your in the Place d'Italie,...

A very disappointing dinner experience at Dudule. The service was mediocre, but the main issue was the extremely poor quality of the food.

The steak I ordered was severely overcooked and tough. The side of mashed potatoes was unevenly seasoned—some parts were incredibly salty while others were completely bland. The salmon tartare was also poorly executed, with the seasoning failing to balance and complement the flavour of the fish.

Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory meal. I would not recommend...
