Foufou — Restaurant in Paris

We visited the restaurant for breakfast, drawn in by the charming and carefully curated photos that promised a cozy and delicious experience. Unfortunately, the reality couldn’t have been more disappointing.

The place claims to be known for its coffee—but what arrived at our table was anything but. It was bland, watery, and utterly forgettable—more like hot disappointment in a cup than the rich, aromatic brew we were expecting.

Then came the food. We'd ordered dishes that were supposed to be served with fresh fruit and vegetables. Instead, we were met with wilted greens and fruit that looked tired and tasted worse—clearly on the verge of going off. It was unappetizing to look at and even more unpleasant to eat.

Went there for brunch with a bunch of friends. The atmosphere/ambiance is lively and cool and the menu has many good options to choose from. I ordered the egg Benedict with salmon and the foufou juice. First of all, the waiter/waitress confused/switched our orders and gave my order to my friend. We ordered tuna tartar with avocado and pineapple and sweet potato fries which was meant to have zaatar spices on them. My wife (who speaks fluent French) asked for more spice for the fries and the waiter said ‘I think there is enough’. So she said, I can’t see any spice, to which he responded ‘well we have probably run out then’… He never even came back to validate this and check on us.
