I recently had the pleasure of dining at Funky Bā, a delightful Thai restaurant tucked away in the heart of Paris. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home.
The highlight of our experience at Funky Bā was undoubtedly the exceptional food. Every dish we ordered was bursting with authentic Thai flavors, prepared with care and expertise. The menu offered a wide range of options, from aromatic curries to fragrant stir-fries, each dish beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. The chefs truly showcased their culinary skills, leaving us completely satisfied and craving for more.
One aspect that pleasantly surprised us was the reasonable pricing at Funky Bā. Considering the quality and taste of the food, we found the prices to be quite affordable, making it an excellent choice for both locals and tourists looking for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.
The street atmosphere at Funky Bā was simply lovely. We chose to dine outside, and the lively street added to the overall charm of the experience. The quaint setting, adorned with twinkling lights and vibrant colors, created a cozy ambiance that enhanced our enjoyment of the meal. It truly felt like a hidden gem in the bustling city of Paris.
Although Funky Bā doesn't offer indoor seating, we didn't mind at all. The open-air arrangement added to the vibrant atmosphere, allowing us to soak up the energy of the surrounding area while savoring our delectable dishes.
The icing on the cake was the exceptional hospitality displayed by the owner. During our visit, unexpected rain poured down, but the owner, without even being prompted, graciously offered us a generous 10% discount on our meal. It was a thoughtful gesture that demonstrated the owner's genuine care and concern for the customers. This act of kindness made our dining experience even more memorable and left a lasting impression on us.
In summary, Funky Bā is an amazing Thai restaurant in Paris that offers exceptional food, reasonable prices, and a charming street atmosphere. The lack of indoor seating is not a drawback but rather an opportunity to enjoy the vibrant energy of the surroundings. Above all, the owner's dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. I highly recommend visiting Funky Bā for an unforgettable dining experience that combines the flavors of Thailand with the allure of Paris.

Read moreTonight, my friend and I decided to have dinner in this nice place. It was easy to find by the cosy light and a large number of plants near the tables.
The man who served us was very friendly and courteous. I was pleasantly surprised by the care of the environment in this restaurant. They use rag napkins instead of paper napkins. The menu is made of metal, which gives it the opportunity to serve more. There were also clean plaids on the chairs, which was perfect for the weather.
The prices correspond to the food, it was very tasty and the portions were quite large. I tried one of my favourite Vert Curry dishes with seafood (the portion cost me 11€), and I can recommend it to you because it was really delicious.
That man himself noticed that we were from Germany and spoke to us in German. It was nice!
At the end, I also decided to buy bamboo cutlery. The man said it was their goal to create less garbage and even gave such a set to my friend. Just wow!
We were satisfied with the atmosphere and food. We'll...
