Terrible experience!! Do NOT recommend. Foreigners BE AWARE!! We bought 30 euros worth of food and drinks from this place, and due to the rain we wait outside standing up and rested the bags/coffee on their table. Even though, we were resting only the things we bought from the shop on their table, we were told that we could not rest our coffees and food bags bought from the own shop on their outside table because we had not paid the price to sit in. (they were charging double the price to eat it). To make clear we were not eating in, we bought take away food and were only resting the bags and drinks on the table while waiting for the rain to ease off. Then they decided to take advantage of us. First, a blonde female waiter came and charged us 2 euros just to rest our food and coffee on the table, the food that we bought from the shop on their outside tables. As we were foreigners and to avoid any problems we paid the 2 euros. Then 2 minutes later a man came out from the shop and told us to get off, push us and started shout and swear at us saying that as we did not pay to eat in we should get out of there and start pushing us. Then we said we had paid the 2 euros for the waiter and we just said get out and pushed us. They were so rude, I Would NOT recommend. Please be aware, I don`t wish what happen to us to my...
Read moreWent to this gem of a bakery randomly with my friends after a visit to the Eiffel Tower. To say I was blown away would be an understatement. This is my fourth time visiting Paris, and I think they have one of the best croissants I’ve eaten in France. It’s a smaller restaurant that’s attached to a bakery, but still very Parisian and cozy; there were a lot of locals that would come and go so we knew it would be good. We went to the bakery first and the server mentioned that we could sit in the restaurant and she’d bring us our items. Between the four of us we ordered a combination of croissants (classic, almond chocolate and pan au chocolate), tarts, eclairs, quiche and coffee (and baguette’s to go). Within 10 minutes we devoured everything. Their staff and customer service was exceptional. One of the most attentive, patient and polite people I’ve come across in Paris. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back during...
Read moreThe best place for breakfast in Paris! 16th arrondissemment, well we only spent one week in Paris, and this Boulangerie (loncheria y Panaderia) was walking distance from our Hotel Garden Elyseès. We saved tons of money by having breakfast/brunch at this place. The breakfast at the hotel was 20 or 40 euros per person and for four adults we ate at the boulangerie for less than 35 euros for all of us 😃👍🏻 The food was delicious, freshly baked and the hot late was ok, the espresso is not good, I grew up with Mexican coffee which is delicious, American coffee is terrible and French coffee is horrible, but the caffe con leche is ok. Anyhow, all their pastries that we had were delicious, no time nor space for more than one pastry though we definitely have to go back. Most of the employees are super nice, there's one lady that gets upset because nous no parle France, hahahaha! Sorry lady,...
