Chez Maram — Restaurant in Paris

Place looks nice from outside which attracted us too it and we went to it according to online time of 1pm, only to get to the shop to see 2pm. Anyway, we went back at 4ish and was told that they won’t be opening till 5. Once again we said okay and patiently waited outside till 5 for it to open. At this point I believe the Manager walks in and arrogantly tells us that we can’t wait like this outside the shop... then we were getting very rude responses to any of the questions we were asking.. we thought accordingly to the reviews we would be dealt like proper customers but we were given responses to make us feel very unwelcomed.. first being told a very high price for shisha, then being told that as 6 of us we must buy sheesha for each 2 people then when we accept that to suddenly say we must buy 4 shisha’s between 6 of us. We felt very uncomfortable from the second the doors were opened, the tone was rude. If you want return customers, you must treat everyone equallly not pick and choose. Had a fantastic time in Paris but we totally lost our moods on this day! Will never go back, nor ever recommend anyone to this place, specially not tourists. Does not know how to do business. Basically was ready to say anything so that we would not take a seat.. funny thing is we would of been happy to pay if you knew how to speak to...

Tourist in Paris for a week . Wanted to sample the shisha life ,so looked at the reviews .My mistake was I only looked at the most recent ones . It has a central location and an OK atmosphere, nothing special . The Shisha was OK not the best I had but not the worst either. Service was prompt and reasonably friendly. My reason for the two stars is the price is not justifiable. €37 for a shisha is an extortionate amount for the place . I have since read the rest of the reviews and although I don't agree with the comments about the cleanliness (the place was reasonably well presented ) or the friendliness of the service , I don't appreciate the responses of the owner . Verdict : great location , good service but extortionate prices .Probably OK for customers with money to burn but not good...

I had a very disappointing experience at this shisha bar. My partner and I were completely ignored from the moment we walked in. When I asked about a table, we were told they were fully booked, yet we literally watched two different groups with no booking get seated right in front of us.

I tried to get someone’s attention to ask how long the wait might be, but staff wouldn’t even acknowledge me I was left standing inside with no answer. It honestly felt like they only choose to approach single women, because we were blatantly disregarded the entire time.

Very unprofessional, unwelcoming, and honestly insulting. We ended up leaving, and I definitely won’t be coming back or...
