We visit Paris in January, 2024. Our hotel is near the Ave de Kleber, close to the Eiffel Tower and the Parvis Des Libertee et des Droits the most popular platform to see and take pictures of the Eiffel Tower. My daughter wants to eat Thai Food so we found Chez Zhong on Yelp and it's close to the place we wanted to see the Eiffel Tower sparkles every hour for 5 minutes. The restaurant is very nice and clean, well decorated, quite small, not many tables but the seating arrangement are quite good. There weren't many people in the restaurants so we had a table right away. My daughter sees so many dishes that she wants and orders all the spicy ones which some of them need to be put out with water LOL. Anyhow, the food here is quite tasty, the only thing I would recommend the chef to do is to make it hot (hot not spicy). All the plates came out warm or cold especially the dish with cornstarch looks soggy although the taste is there. I like restaurants with hot foods when they get to me. All the dishes are a little small for the price, but this is on the main ave of the city, so I understand the cost of the place is higher. Anyhow, the prices are not expensive nor inexpensive due to the size of the plates. The quality of the food is excellent, very tasty, very delicious even with warm and cold temperature. My daughter and my wife love the food, I do like it too although I hate cold food. Will we come back here again if we visit Paris, may be not, I would try some new places with hotter food and not as spicy? If the plates are hot, then it wouldn't bring the temperature of the food down so fast from the kitchen...

I recently dined at Restaurant Chez Zong in Paris, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. As an American, I often find dining in foreign countries a bit challenging, but the service here was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff were extremely accommodating, going out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed and that I felt completely at home.

The food was a revelation. Every dish was bursting with flavor, meticulously prepared, and beautifully presented. From the appetizers to the desserts, each bite was a delight. The variety and authenticity of the dishes truly showcased the culinary richness of Asian cuisine.

In addition to the incredible food and service, the ambiance was perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The decor was elegant yet cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Overall, Restaurant Chez Zong exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Paris. Five stars...

As I’m a Newyorker and an Asian, I would say “the worst service I’ve ever experienced in all of the restaurants”. This restaurant is very close to my hotel and read the good reviews so my husband and I went there. However, I felt so bad not for giving respect and paying attention to customers even the food arrived after 45 minutes. Our table number was not in their system and no one came to ask. If the system is not accepting the order by scanning barcode, why no one came and asked “how may I help you or anything you need”. Why I was wasting my time for sitting 45 minutes? Unless I asked to the the girl”why you took so long”, I don’t know how long I have to wait more. After two items arrived, again forgot to serve soup after 1 hour. 😡It’s really pissed me off. Therefore, I will never recommend to this restaurant to all my friends whoever visit to...

One of my favourite meals in Paris! Coming from the west coast of Canada where we're spoiled with good Asian food options, I was surprised at the quality of food from Chez Zhong in France. I had the Riz ananas crevettes (shrimp and pineapple rice). It was delicious! The crunchy cashews felt very Thai-inspired and so the Chinese/Thai influences were both prominent. I enjoyed the cook of the shrimp. Others in my group had the Aubergine sichuanaises and Canard Cantonnais, and also only had good things to say about the food! We were sat next to a portable fan churning hot air and so it was quite warm at our table. Service was fine, nothing outstanding, but the food spoke for itself. We thought prices were reasonable for a main dish! Would recommend.

I took my wife to Chez Zhong, because it had such great reviews. However for us the food was not up to standard, don’t get me wrong it was not bad; just that I would not want to eat there again. My wife ordered a Pad Thai the noodles were a little slimy and there was only about 5 pieces of chicken in the dish and they were very small. For myself I ordered a Red Thai Curry however the curry was not at all spicy and the chicken was more like flakes rather than cuts of thigh or breast - further more there was lettuce and cucumber in the Thai curry which is not authentic at all …. The service and atmosphere was good but disappointed with the food
