Generoso — Restaurant in Paris

Right in front of the Canal Saint Martin, Generoso has been one of the best choice I made to eat some Italian food during my trip in Paris. The taste of the “Monnalisa Gourmand” with fresh Prosciutto San Daniele on the top of a creamy Burrata, all inside a huge potato perfect cooked, made me fall in love with the well balanced flavours. The wine suggested by the owner among a selection of Italian wines enviable, was the perfect match with our main dishes.

Last but not least, the dessert (rigorously Italian of course!). The Pastiera Napoletana with the aftertaste of orange flower and the Panna Cotta with the best consistence ever taste and jam on the top, have been the perfect conclusion of this amazing culinary journey.

Amazing place run by a great couple. They are all about the customer experience making you feel home. From the service to food and drinks, you will travel emotionally through Italy. You can find niche Italian wines and the chef is Sicilian adding a savoury southern taste to every dish. The Parmigiana is a must to have. Plus the location is gorgeous with the view on the Canal...

I had such a lovely meal here! Michele and Barbara have built such an amazing spot and offer such wonderful food and hospitality. Treat yourself to the vegetarian Mona Lisa and some Spritzes.
