I stayed 5 nights in this most wonderful hotel in late October 2019. Location: 93 Rue de Lille, 75007 Paris, France. This is about 300 metres from the entrance to the famous Musée d’Orsay; about 350m to the RER (Gare du Musée d’Orsay); and about 400m to the Assemblée Nationale Metro station. I found the location very convenient and in a nice part of Paris. Check-in: From the moment I walked into this hotel I felt a sense of being at “home”. The staff were so warm and welcoming. There was no problem with me not speaking more than two words of French. The décor of the lobby was typically French (if there’s such a thing) – classy, welcoming and warm. Over my stay it was a common sight to see residents sitting and reading the paper whilst enjoying a quiet drink or simply waiting for someone. I think there weren’t too many non-French speakers at this hotel, but throughout my 5 day stay the staff made me feel extremely welcome, regardless of my lack of French language skills. Room Facilities: My room was on the 3rd floor, with a roof-top view over the back of the property. This wasn’t a large room, but it was elegantly furnished and extremely comfortable. The room was tastefully decorated in soft blue/green colours, with matching wallpaper, carpet and bed coverings. The Queen size bed was particularly inviting and comfortable. Just inside the door was a desk with space to work, with a complimentary pod type coffee machine. Everything about the room was classy and functional. The complimentary Wi-Fi was easy to connect and worked well. The bathroom was tastefully decorated, although typically for older hotels I had to shower in the bath, which I find a little dangerous from the point of easily slipping over. I asked the front desk if they had a non-slip mat for the bath. Within an hour a member of staff knocked on the door with the requested mat. Room storage was adequate, supplemented by a wardrobe inside the bathroom entrance. Breakfast: Breakfast was an experience, with the expected choice of fresh baguettes, and good selection of breads, cakes, cold meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, sausages and all the popular European breakfast favorites. The staff at breakfast were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Check-out: Easy check-out with the extremely helpful and friendly staff making it easy. Overall: I’ll make a big call here – this hotel was one of my favorite all time stays. I just felt so at home there. Just be sure to check out all the room types and make sure you get one that suits your requirements. I’m sure some rooms are...

Spent 8 nights at Hotel d'Orsay and absolutely loved it! While I wish I could have afforded the more spacious rooms/suites, our superior room was cozy and still enough space to feel comfortable for the amount of time stayed. The vibe of this hotel comes off as effortlessly chic, but it is evident that forethought, attention to detail, and effort are put into all aspects of the hotel by the staff. I never felt that I wanted for anything.

The welcome champagne on ice and snacks in room were incredibly thoughtful. I'm not sure if that is standard or because we said we were celebrating our 5th anniversary, but it was a lovely surprise.

As somebody with horrible back issues, I found the firm bed incredibly comfortable and was surprised that my back was not an issue the entire week. Pillows were great as well. Our room had a lovely small balcony overlooking the Musee d'Orsay and the street in front of the hotel. It was great to step out and people watch.

The Nespresso, kettle, teas, and bottles of Evian were stocked daily in the room, and the sitting room of the lobby had an espresso machine, daily teatime with some kind of cake, and little snacks each day as well. The Codage toiletries were wonderful, and I was happy to discover you could purchase full-size versions from the front desk (instead of having to go to a store to find them!).

If you're unsure about paying for breakfast, do it! It is 100% worth it. Hot food like eggs, bacon, and sausage and then a wide variety of delicious pastries, cheeses, fruit, juices, breads, butter, spreads, etc. The breakfast room staff are incredibly kind and attentive and offer to make you a pot of tea, type of coffee, etc. each time you arrive. It's also just such a lovely space for breakfast. My husband and I found ourselves being so thankful each morning that we had opted for the breakfast.

Every member of the hotel staff was warm, friendly, and accommodating. They went out of their way to assist with anything you could need help with. I found the attention to detail throughout the week so impressive and never felt the need to ask for anything because it was already provided.

Great location for museums, shopping, walking along the Siene. So glad we chose Hotel d'Orsay and would...

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon back in December. The entire staff at Hôtel d'Orsay was so pleasant and helpful. They held our luggage for us until our room was ready, so that we were able to go explore the city before checking in. They also arranged our taxi service for us on our departure. Upon checking in, they gave us great recommendations on where to eat and sight see. The entire hotel is so beautiful, and it was exactly the Parisian experience that we were looking for during our first stay in the city. The hotel is full of history and the lobby and rooms were so clean and quaint. My husband and I keep saying that when we visit Paris again, this is the only hotel we will consider staying at! It was in a great location, too. Very central and not a far walk from the Musée d'Orsay and my favorite bridge in Paris, the Alexander III Bridge. They also have out of this world incredible croissants. I highly recommend treating yourself to the room service breakfast option, it is a great deal and is very relaxing to get to enjoy your breakfast in your beautiful room.
