Since the customer service didn´t really help me out and my local Longchamp Store in Stuttgart is not able to support I need to drop my feedback here.
In June I ordered a personlized Le Pliage in size XS for the very first time with GOLD Hardware. It´s my 5th Longchamp Le Pliage. I love the quality especially the nylon. So I know VERY well the quality. Last year in November I personalized the Le Pliage in Size L which was perfectly well and we the fabric (nylon) we all know. YET the le pliage XS I ordered in JUNE turned out to have a new fabric which is the recycled canvas we all know from the current paperbag collection. The QUALITY is sooo bad. The thread is visible through the stiches. The corners look like already used. Right after I after received the product I contacted the customer service. They weren´t open to help and constantly said that personalized product can´t be returned. If I want something to changed I should contact my local store, which I did. Yet my local store says that it was an online purchase so there is nothing they can do besides repairing the corners once it´s really needed. This repair is just ONCE free of charge. But if my bag looks in the very beginning like already used I imagine that the bags needs to be repaired several times which is ridiculous. The customer service constantly wanted me to send pictures. Communication in general was very bad. It was hard to talk to someone in English. And they didn´t really understand my issue. I said many times that this is not my first personalized bag. Also I mentioned that the new fabric type wasn´t written AYWHERE - even an experienced buyer as me couldn´t know that. If this is going to be the NEW QUALITY standard I won´t be a passionate Longchamp customer since this quality is everything but a luxurious one. So far I wasted so much time - it´s insane. Longchamp did not help at all. A shame for "luxurious" brand...
Read moreWorst shopping experience ever!!!!!!!!!!!We were shopping for bags on the second floor. The only staff member was busy helping another customer with some paperwork. We searched around but couldn't find any other salespeople, so we had to choose our own handbags. After a few minutes, we finally found a staff member chatting behind the checkout counter. No one noticed us and came to our aid. A few minutes later, several Caucasian customers arrived. The staff enthusiastically came out to explain the products, but several ignored me after making eye contact, even pretending not to see me when I waved. While checking out, one of the female staff members looked me up and down, only to quickly look away when I noticed. Amidst my "warm invitation and eager waiting," the male staff member who checked me out (probably the man in the striped suit pictured in a recent review) was completely indifferent and impatient. Since we were in a hurry for a flight, we didn't make a big deal about it, and the entire shopping experience was short (less than 10 minutes, with no frequent selections or line-jumping). I don't understand why the clerk was so indifferent and rude. At first I thought it was racial discrimination or language discrimination. After reading the comments today, I realized that it was just that the staff simply lacked work ethics...
Read moreI am writing this to describe one unfortunate event happened in Longchamp Champs Elysees store on October 22nd Saturday around 4pm. I have arrived at the store to buy another Longchamp bag for myself, I am using Longchamp bags since decades. I was at the second floor looking at Le Pliage collection to decide the color I want. I was there with another Longchamp Le Pliage Backpack with me which I purchased from Privalia 2 years ago. One of the shop assistants approached me and said that "You are using a fake Longchamp it is ok". I was shocked and while trying to understand what was going on another shop assistant came and asked me to go with her. She wanted me to open my bag to look inside, I was literally in shock about what was happening, I opened my bag, she asked me to empty my bag because she wants to look the serial number. She checked the serial number and couldn't find a clue then searched for another reason to blame and she said, "Look at the logo, I know it is not easy to see but if you look so carefully you will see the difference" and I couldn't see any difference honestly. She violated my personal rights by looking inside my bag, it was literally a security threat.
