Jim's Corner — Restaurant in Paris

It was another one of my returns to Paris — chasing a muse, hoping to breathe in some inspiration. But once again, the city met me with heaviness, gloom, wild faces, and empty eyes.

Then a musician friend said: “Go to Jim’s Corny. It’ll help.”

I went — and it felt like stepping out of the noise. It was delicious, calming, genuinely good. The music wasn’t just background — it felt like a quiet conversation with myself. The playlist matched my state so precisely, so gently.

Such a lovely café in Paris! The staff is kind and welcoming and speaks several languages - even German, which was a nice surprise. Great spot to work from, with good Wi-Fi and chill music in the background. But the atmosphere is although perfect for a quiet break. Coffee is delicious and made with care, with lots of milk alternatives to choose from. I had the best carrot cake I’ve ever tasted here, and the halloumi burger was so good - highly recommend! We were on the hunt for a spot to grab a quick breakfast and came across Jim’s corner. This little spot was offering up some delicious breakfast items at a reasonable price so I couldn’t resist trying. Both the food and drinks did not disappoint, the sandwich was made with fresh ingredients and was full of flavour, the coffee was equally as good and their Americano was one of the best I have had in a while.
