Kitchen & Bar @Gare de Lyon — Restaurant in Paris

If you are near the area of Gare de Lyon, this restaurant/cafe is a must visit. The resturant is located 200 m from the train station. If you see Courtyard by Marriott and you are at the right location. Not just the food but also the service is top class. From manager to the employees working there treat you with kindness and utmost respect. They were polite and we had a nice interaction with them. They went out of their way to prepare the vegetarian dishes and the taste was so rich. I personally like this restaurant as the resturant around gare de Lyon (just outside the station) can be expensive but this restaurant is worth your money.

Food was gross. They already had a small menu and then said only a handful of things were available. The cheese had a gross taste to them and only one meat on our mix platter tasted normal. My husband and I both got steaks and we cut into our $30 1/8 inch steak and it tasted gross. Best part was the bread and fries. I don’t know how the ratings are high. Maybe it used to be good or the chef is on vacation. But we saw people heading that way and told them not to go. My stomach hurt after. With that said the waiter was nice but I’d never eat...

I visited Kitchen and Bar for the first time and had the most delicious meal! this restaurant was one of the highlights of my Paris trip! I ordered the Filet de Beouf Gare de Lyon and the Burger and a glass of M de Minuty Rosé. The beef was so juicy and flavoursome. It literally melted in my mouth. It was accompanied with a really nice sauce and small potatoes. They gave us some nice bread and butter while we waited for the food. I would definitely recommend this place, it’s great value...
