L'Area — Restaurant in Paris

I randomly stumble upon this place where they have a surprising mix of Lebanese and Brazilian food. I had a Sunday brunch and was delighted both by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the owners. Every Sunday they prepare a different set of meals for the brunch that they place on the bar and this is all-you-can-eat. The waiter offered to prepare some eggs for you as well as a Lebanese bread on top of what was already available. Overall a very good experience. I did not try having a "normal" meal there yet, but this is definitely a nice place to go...

If only looking at the food and the great owner, it would certainly have been 5 stars since the food was absolutely great and the owner really wonderful clearly making an effort to give everyone a great eating experience. So why 4 stars, well I believe the place is very crammed when busy and we sat on a couch/bench that were really ready for replacement. Now of course this adds to the loose atmosphere but than again prices are upmarket Paris...you cannot have it both ways :) so 4 stars but really worth a trip if you like...

Super friendly and welcoming people there. Menu was a surprising mix of Brasilian and Lebanese dishes. We were one of the first guests that day and owner suggested to guide us and he did it perfectly. We tasted several different starters, had excellent main courses and ended with deserts.
