L'impératif — Restaurant in Paris

Unfortunately this was one of the places we would frequently go to but to our great Disappointment the staff disappointed us and ruined our mood. We had spoken to the bar tender(sri lankan/bengali origin)if it was possible to bring in our own food for one person since this one person had allergies and health issues....this bar tender said it can be managed. The question was asked on few visits and a confirmation saying Yes it can be managed was always assured hence on our visit with our family last weekend we requested for the special request to be granted but the staff and apparently the manager (skinny lady with droopy eyes) looked at us like we were aliens and was extremely impolite and said No its not possible, sadly the bar tender who supposedly said that it could be done didn't even bother to tell his colleague that he had said it was possible. This was the worst hospitality we could ever receive despite being regular guests and worse we were told that it was possible. This not only disappointed us but embarrassed us as we had family visiting us from South France. The manager (skinny lady with droopy eyes) didn't apologize and didn't even say Merci Avoir. A complete unprofessional approach by all staff and unfortunately this is not expected from the French hospitality. Bad communication and zero hospitality skills. If you are not sure of rules and regulations I suggest you ask your seniors. Very very unprofessional and sad to see...

I had dinner with a few friends for an anniversary, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfying.

While the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, the service, food quality, and execution were severely lacking.

First, the service was unprofessional. We had to wait a long time before placing our orders, and it took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive afterward. There were also some mistakes made by the server, which I won’t go into detail about.

As for the food quality, it was disappointing. The pasta wasn’t fresh, the chicken was too dry, the burrata lacked freshness, and both the lamb and other meats were excessively fatty. Overall, the food was of low quality, especially considering the high prices.

Regarding food preparation, none of my friends who ordered steak or lamb received the cooking they requested. One friend asked for his lamb to be cooked medium rare, but it was so undercooked that it was practically raw, with blood dripping as he ate. The French fries were decent, but overly greasy.

To top it all off, we brought a cake to celebrate our friend's anniversary. When we asked if they could store it in a cooler, they charged us 20 euros for the service.

There’s significant room for improvement in several areas for this restaurant to live up to...

L’impératif – Ein Muss für Genießer!

L’impératif? Der Name ist Programm – denn wer dieses italienische Juwel einmal besucht hat, kommt garantiert wieder. Hier wird nicht nur gekocht, hier wird zelebriert: Geschmack, Gastfreundschaft und ganz viel gute Laune!

Die Cocktails? Eine Wucht! Ob fruchtig, herb oder richtig ausgefallen – jeder Drink ist ein kleines Meisterwerk und kommt mit Stil und einem Lächeln an den Tisch. Perfekt, um den Abend entspannt einzuläuten.

Und dann... kommt die Pizza. Dünner Boden, kross gebacken, der Käse zieht Fäden wie im italienischen Werbespot, und der Belag – von klassisch bis kreativ – lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wer eher auf Fleisch steht, wird ebenso verwöhnt: zart, saftig, voll auf den Punkt. Da merkt man sofort – hier weiß jemand, was er tut!

Doch das Beste an L’impératif ist das Team: herzlich, aufmerksam, schlagfertig und mit einem Humor, der einem schon vor dem ersten Bissen ein breites Grinsen ins Gesicht zaubert. Hier fühlt man sich nicht wie ein Gast – sondern wie ein gern gesehener Stammkunde, selbst beim ersten Besuch.

Fazit: L’impératif ist mehr als ein Restaurant – es ist ein kleines Stück Italien, mitten im Alltag. Wer gutes Essen, tolle Cocktails und echtes Wohlfühlambiente sucht, hat hier seinen neuen Lieblingsplatz gefunden. Cin cin!

L’impératif – Un incontournable pour les épicuriens !

L’impératif ? Le nom ne ment pas – c’est une adresse à ne pas manquer pour tous ceux qui aiment bien manger, bien boire et bien rigoler !

Dès l’entrée, on est accueilli avec un sourire sincère et une bonne dose d’humour. L’équipe est non seulement professionnelle, mais aussi drôle, attentionnée et pleine d’énergie. On se sent tout de suite à l’aise, comme chez des amis.

Les cocktails ? De véritables chefs-d'œuvre ! Originaux, parfaitement dosés, servis avec classe – ils donnent le ton pour une soirée réussie. Et pendant qu’on savoure son apéritif, la magie continue avec la cuisine…

La pizza ? Une merveille ! Pâte fine et croustillante, ingrédients frais et savoureux, chaque bouchée sent bon l’Italie. Pour les amateurs de viande, c’est également le paradis : cuisson parfaite, assaisonnement au top, portions généreuses – que demander de plus ?

En résumé : L’impératif, c’est plus qu’un restaurant – c’est une expérience. Des plats délicieux, des boissons exquises et une ambiance conviviale comme on en voit rarement. Un lieu où l’on revient encore et encore, avec le sourire…...
