So, this was one of the first places we went to grab some food beside the Gorde Nu train station. Being foreigners, I really wanted to try everything that I could. So, let's see if France has some great crepes, and this place really does. We had some latte and chocolate crepes, which were absolutely amazing. The chocolate was awesome and semi warm, and the crepe was just so nice and fluffy. The service is good, and it seemed like a few people were managing everything. I was highly impressed with the speed of everything. This is close to the trainstation which is perfect. They allow roller bags in the cafe, and the restroom is down some stairs. Everything was clean. So for you Americans, ya. Use all the restrooms you can when you eat because You will pay to use other restrooms. lol.

We stumbled upon this gem and firstly really enjoyed the ambience - it felt very unpretetious, authentic, and locally focused yet chic and stylish at the same time. We only eat fish so the quite innovative fish selection was impressive. Good choice for fish lovers, and very affordable prices! Ordered two different fish dishes and both were delicious, fresh, light and very stylishly presented. Extra points for the yummy different purees accompanying our dishes! Texture and taste contrast completed the fish extremely well!

Stopped here the other night just for a coffee and a rest. Ended up trying a couple of desserts. Wow truly a delight on the taste buds. We enjoyed so much so we choose to return for a meal. We arrived the next evening and was not disappointed. Clara served us again and made us feel so welcome, although our French is limited (I am so sorry for that) Clara spoke perfect English. Thank you to all the staff the food and reception was amazing. Sorry have added pictures but I started my meal first as I could not wait.

I recently dined at La Maison Bleue with a group of seven friends, and I must say that the overall experience was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we arrived, it became evident that this was not going to be a pleasant dining experience.

Firstly, upon receiving my glass of red wine, I was shocked to find that it was served hot, as if it had been left out in the sun for an extended period. When I requested a replacement, the staff simply placed the same glass in the fridge and served it back to me later. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for customer satisfaction was truly unacceptable.

Furthermore, the quality of the food was subpar. I ordered a tartare, expecting a fresh and well-prepared dish. However, upon its arrival, I was greeted with a disconcerting sight. The meat was a combination of brown and red, which is certainly not normal for a tartare. To make matters worse, as I started eating, I discovered a small bug embedded within the meat. Naturally, I returned the plate immediately, and the incident left me feeling disgusted and uneasy.

Unfortunately, my experience was not an isolated incident. One of my friends discovered a hair in their plate, which is indicative of poor hygiene practices in the kitchen. Another friend ordered a mojito (whiche is supposed to be made with sparkling water), only to be served one made with regular water. These repeated mistakes clearly illustrate a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for the customers' preferences.

Aside from the numerous food-related mishaps, the service was abysmal. The waiting time was exceptionally long, leaving us frustrated and hungry. The staff seemed uninterested and unengaged, lacking basic courtesy and attentiveness. Their lack of professionalism and poor communication only served to exacerbate an already disappointing evening.

In conclusion, my experience at La Maison Bleue was marred by multiple instances of poor service, unsatisfactory food quality, and an overall lack of attention to customer satisfaction. The hot wine, the poorly prepared tartare with a bug, the presence of a hair in a friend's plate, the wrong drink order, and the extremely slow and inattentive service all contributed to an evening that was nothing short of a disaster. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience, and I rate it with just one star...

The only thing this place has going for it is it's proximity to Gare du Nord. We were looking for some food while waiting for a train and chose this from the reviews here on google. When we got there the service was very strange, and it took time before any of the 20(?) staff members approached us. Two of us ordered the cheeseburger as it was recommended on google, and the last had an asian salad of sorts. The server asked us how we wanted the burgers cooked and we said we wanted medium/rare. The food came in a timely fashion, but when it arrived both the the server said "well done" when he delivered the burgers. We thought we misheard, and when he left and we dug into the burgers they were incredibly well done, as in not a even a hint of colour. After this the server avoided our table like tha plague, and when we finally got his attention he came reluctantly to our table and asked what he could do. We said that these burgers were not medium/rare and he said "I think they are." He then left and another man came to our table. We told him what the problem was and he said, if it was well done the grey would be more grey if it was well done. ????. However he did offer to replace the burgers and we got some slightly better ones. The asian style salad with raw salmon was just a disaster. Cabbage and big poorly cut pieces of tough salmon. Stay away.

tl;dr: Food and service is bad, no reason to go here over any other...

This is a wonderful restaurant. While staying in an apartment nearby, we had dinner outside and couldn't have had a better experience. The staff understood our French was limited and spoke English to us and couldn't be more welcoming! Big shout out to Alex for being so great to us! The food was top notch; I would recommend the duck! It was perfectly cooked!

I'm not much of a dessert person, but we ordered the Brest de la Maison, which was one of the best desserts I've ever had!! It was so amazing that the next day we called in for a "to go" order of that dessert and a bottle of the "cat" wine! Even delicious the second time!

Also, a HUGE thank you to the staff, especially Audrey, for their thorough efforts in locating my lost phone! They could not have been more accommodating and helpful. It's a long story but they went above and beyond just being a wonderful restaurant. I'm forever grateful for their generosity!

I highly recommend La Maison Bleue and the next time I'm in Paris, this will be our first stop for...
