Extremely busy and vibrant place, yet the staff made us feel so incredibly welcome during all of our 6 visits we felt like we have been here a 100 times. The cocktails were stunning and very reasonably priced, and the beer is well maintained too. All the staff speak english very well. They have also perfectly and calmly handled a guy who, in his very drunken state, tried to pick a fight with my partner and I for an unknown reason. They made sure we were ok throughout the evening. We came here for a family dinner in Aug 24 with me and my wife and our two children 11, and 8. This is a very busy place with lots of outdoor seating. The crowd here are young, but polite and friendly. The service is incredible - I don’t know how the waiters did it, so many orders, food and drinks coming out so quickly and they remember everything without writing it down. The drinks are fine, but it's really too expensive. Plus, the waiter was really impatient when we asked to each pay for our drinks. He asked us if we had a calculator. Isn't that something he's supposed to do?

That said, this is not really new to most places in Paris, I guess. The location is on Place de la Contrascarpe, which is always pretty and very lively. It's worth then going to a place like this, especially during the summer, to have an apéro. The other ones on the square are not much...
