La Table des écoles : Brasserie - Brunch - Boulangerie — Restaurant in Paris

REALLY LOVE this restaurant! Actually the best taste in our 1-week stay at Paris. We tried some famous 100 years + restaurant but kinda disappointed, while this small restaurant La Table des écoles is surprisingly nice.

We ordered Penne pasta with chicken and mushroom source and kids meals, our little ones helped themselves to finish all the food (very rare). The pasta is the best I ever take, all the flavors are well balanced, ingredients are fresh too, not too heavy so you can finish the whole plate without feeling upset in stomach (because many other white sauce pasta gets me sick).

Very bad! The viennoiserie is the only thing that is more or less 'edible'.

The savory products are way too greasy and tasteless. The packaging was drenched in oil.

The pastries are the worst of all they offer. It is unworthy of the name pastry and it is a crime that such products are served in Paris or France. No taste, a nasty explosion of pure sugar in the mouth.

All products and also the coffee are way too expensive, it feels like we've been robbed.

The sales lady is an arrogant moody person who has no understanding of customer service at all.

This restaurant is a hidden gem, the atmosphere is incredible. Truly from the owner, and the waitresses, to the food, to customer service everything is spectacular. If you are in the area I highly recommend this restaurant. The French Onion soup is delicious, the chicken in mushroom sauce is heavenly, and everything is fresh and so tasty!
