The prices offered for these cannelés are very reasonable! 45 centimes for a « bouchée » and 55 centimes for « lunch »! ! I recommend the lunches, which have more taste, but the bouchées are also excellent.

It seems too good to be true! I lived in Bordeaux for over a year and enjoyed many cannelés, so I'm quite familiar with this dessert. The price is surprisingly low for such high quality—it's almost too cheap! I want to bring 50 of them to the USA. 😭😭

These were typical Paris canalés. The outside was not at all crispy, it was more chewy. The inside was nice, though. A proper canelé should have a slightly crunchy crust over a very moist interior. Perhaps if you get them right out of the oven they're better? All I know is that I went across town for the promise of a proper canelé, and was very...
