We order the artichoke as starter, 2 beef steaks ‘medium’ and asked them to keep an apple pie for us (which made the waiter laugh while confirming). A feeeeeew minutes later…

Artichokes came straight from the Carrefour can with some sauce on top. 14€ and a slice of my soul😅

One beef stake was ‘ok’, the other one was “well done”, and the waiter confronted us stating “that’s clearly also medium”.

30 min and at least 3 waiter’s cigarettes later we finished our main dishes, is what it took him to come back to our table to admit he had forgotten about our apple pie reservation and there wasn’t any left.

136€, 2h of attention seeking games with the waiters and (fair enough) a decent bottle of wine.

There are way better alternatives...

I' AM SHOCKED about the service. my office is next by I use to go almost every day unfortunately they change owners and after today I will never go back. We ordered 2 fillet 35 something euro arrives tiny and the mash potatoes cold so we ask to warm comes back with the meat cold but we eat anyway. The owner ask us how was it? we reply it was cold and he say to us: I'm sorry to hear that can I give you a coffe or a coffe gourmand? I say yes thanks and my friend ask just for a coffe. Arrives my coffe with tiny pieces of 3 desserts next to the coffe and I think that as is free is normal... I ENDED UP PAYING 12euro for that COFFE!!!!! HIGHER PRICES LOWER QUALITY! I REALLY REALLY MISS THE OLD OWNER. SO SAD DO...

What a small quaint neighborhood gem! So glad we found Laiterie Sainte-Clotilde. The wait staff offered excellent service and were super friendly and supportive of our attempts at speaking French. The food was the best we've had three days into our trip - delicious tuna roll, soft egg with morel sauce, artichoke soup, and the fish of the day. The chef knows what he's doing! Wonderful wine selection as well - we had a bottle of pinot noir, the remainder of which they kindly re-corked and bagged for us to take away. Make a reservation. We highly recommend this...
