So I’m visiting Paris and I decided to try this place after I left another restaurant right across the place. Amazing amazing read my review on that one so the four of us went and I ordered the beef stew. My husband ordered the chicken. My girlfriend ordered the steak and then her husband ordered the shell pasta. Let me start with the place is overcrowded they do not have air conditioning. They have a fan it’s August 16, 2025. Everyone is cramped up so we decided to eat inside where there’s a fan after that the waiter total with an attitude which I’m not used to this on top of that was rushing us to place the order after we place the order the food came the chicken was dry. The leg part was no flavor smelled like burnt chicken bone. My girlfriend didn’t even finish her steak. It was like rubber. Her husband‘s pasta was dry. No taste. He had to put Tabasco sauce on it and order it for it to taste somewhat of a pasta my stew. Supposedly it is a slow cook beef chuck roast that’s cooked in wine for hours. It’s supposed to melt I had to use a knife, a fork and a spoon to pull the meat apart. I couldn’t even eat it so after getting a bill over $100 we’ll never go there again so don’t fall for the Hipp that you know the hype that everyone is sitting there and it looks so amazing and you wanna go eat now this place had a 3.9 I was hesitant. I gave it a try if I was able to give it a...

However, pretty incredible rudeness from a waiter who made a mistake with my order and made it seem like it was my fault when I very politely enquired about it. Considering it was regarding a food intolerance and being served something I cannot consume, I of course confirmed my choice at the time of ordering, despite the protestations of the server who blamed me, and above all more care should be taken in such instances.
For the record, since it was just for a cup of coffee with some kind of alternative milk, as I am allergic to dairy (which is clearly offered on the menu at an extra charge), it’s not as though I asked for a dish to be changed, something off menu, or sent back an expensive steak. All I wanted was a coffee I could drink.
Couldn’t have been more quickly rushed off the table with the bill being served abruptly despite us having indicated initially that we might want to order more, and honestly that’s fine. Considering after that incident the servers attitude was such that I felt was being continually punished for their mistake, the atmosphere felt too uncomfortable to want...
Read moreDuring our stay at a nearby hotel, we stumbled upon this amazing restaurant, and it quickly became one of our favorite dining experiences in all of Paris. From the moment we entered, we were charmed by the cozy and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by its quaint décor and relaxed vibe that made us feel right at home.
What truly made our visit stand out, however, was the exceptional service. Our waiter, Gianni, went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and well taken care of. He was incredibly friendly, taking the time to learn about our preferences before recommending the perfect dishes. His suggestions for both food and wine were absolutely spot on. We opted for the chef’s special, the côte de bœuf, and it was beyond delicious—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The dish was expertly paired with a lovely red from Côtes du Rhône, elevating the entire meal. Everything we tasted was simply incredible.
This restaurant not only provided excellent food but also a warm, personalized experience that made it unforgettable. If you’re in Paris, be sure to stop by—this place...
