Le Dépanneur (Nouveau propriétaire) — Restaurant in Paris

Dear owner(s) of Le Dépanneur What happened? (Do you really care?) I used to come at anytime of the day, it was always a bit expensive but very friendly when I lived in the area of South Pi, where I grew up, and today was the 1st time since I moved to the Eastern part of Paris seven years ago. Where is the original atmosphere gone? The place was empty for lunch, and not well-kept. First of all: Toilets door not closing, lights downstairs defect and blinking, not enough stationary and not clean anywherr. Secondly the price are too high for the lack of choice 14€ for a « grilled cheese », the salad to the burger a joke with lemon and everything tasted the same. Thanks to Cyril the waiter whose attention and professionalism saved my lunch, because I wanted to show Le Dépanneur to my girls… as a neat special place!

I’ve been in this place multiple times and it’s usually a place I’d recommend in the Pigalle area, but last time I was there it was quite disappointing. Even though the servers were very nice, the service was a bit slow and they weren’t sure of the availability of the drinks we ordered (at first they said they couldn’t make the cocktail we ordered cause they didn’t have an ingredient and then eventually they did have it so they could prepare it). What really left me in shock was the restrooms, which were clearly very dirty, it smelled very bad and it seemed like nobody had cleaned them or do maintenance in there for a long time. Went here for dinner on my last night in Paris, 2/17/20 and I got the Baja Fish Tacos. I was excited about it because it looked amazing but it was the worst mistake of my life by eating this dish. First of all, my friend had a bug crawl out of her uneaten food once we were all finished. I was mortified, we could not do anything at this point because was all consumed most of the food.
