Le P'tit Zinc — Restaurant in Paris

Having lived in Paris for seven years, albeit 20 years ago, I wanted to show an old friend who had never been to Paris a quintessential local bistrot and Le P’tit Zinc was perfect! Excellent traditional menu (bavette, saucisses, magret) each dish authentic yet exquisitely prepared, delicious - far from the usual banal fare found in so many Paris bistros with similar menus. Excellent food. I had the entrecôte with fries and it was impeccably done. Good beers too, although not so much choice (it's France after all). The staff is really friendly and passionate about making the guests happy. Contents de voir des happy hours proposant des cocktails à 6,50€ nous nous installons et commandons une planche de charcuterie (plutôt bonne, au rapport qualité prix très correct) un Moscow Mule (pas tres bon, 12€ en plein tarif) et un St Germain Spritz (plutôt bon, 14€ en temps normal). Le serveur est au petit soin donc tout va bien. Je reprends un cocktail pour oublier le goût du Moscow Mule (Porn Star, correct, 13,50€ en plein tarif) et nous quittons les lieux pour aller assister à un concert à l’Accor Arena.. Pourquoi une si mauvaise note me direz vous? Car au moment de payer l’addition, la surprise est mauvaise : non non, les « mules » et « spritz » ne sont ici pas des cocktails mais apparaissent bien dans des catégories séparées. Je précise au patron que je n’aurais pas pris ces cocktails en connaissance de cause mais selon lui c’est clairement indiqué qu’il y a une catégorie « cocktail » dans lequel ces deux là ne figurent pas. Chacun son avis là dessus mais pour moi ne pas le signaler, c’est de la publicité mensongère. Préférez donc passer votre chemin et vous attabler ailleurs.
