The worst service I have experienced in Paris as a tourist. The person behind the counter was impatient and rude, in my opinion. Very Parisian. Again, in my opinion, the ice cream was average and not worth all the positive feedback.
Reply: As mentioned on the review, I visited in August. August 9th to be specific, around 3 pm. The person who served us had a southern accent ( maybe marseillais ) with thick eyebrows and dark hair. Was wearing a black t-shirt. You screamed âça va?!â at us like an insult when we were checking out the display. And later when we sat outside you walked out with someone (not a costumer) to say goodbye and told them âtu vois que je tâai payĂ©â and gave me a dirty look before going inside. The person who took the payement was more polite and had an apron on. Maybe no one is leaving fake reviews and actually had a bad experience in your shop ? In fact, it was so bad, i had to remind myself, this much later, to go back and...
Read moreFantastic. Ice cream in Paris is more miss than hit. This place and his passion for ice cream shows well in his product. Iâve tried ice cream at multiple âgelatoriasâ in and around Paris and came up disappointed. Iâve tried his passion fruit, mango, and strawberry sorbet. Unlike most sorbets these did not have a watery aftertaste. Perfectly sweet with a balanced sour finish. However the 70% cacao dark chocolate is worldly. From the best chocolate distributor and it is shown in the taste. Combine this with the coffee (from a India) flavored ice cream and itâs a heavenly way to conclude and evening. Highly recommended. Skip the desert at your Michelin starred restaurant and stroll here for much...
Read moreI had a fantastic experience at Les Gourmandises! The homemade ice creams are all top-notch, but what really stood out was the service. Dylan went above and beyondâwhen my daughter picked a flavor that happened to contain alcohol, he immediately let me know before serving it. Thanks to his attentiveness, we quickly chose something else, and she loved it.
Itâs rare to find this level of care and honesty, especially in a busy spot. The atmosphere is cozy, the menu has plenty of variety, and the treats are delicious. If youâre in the Bastille area and craving something sweet, this is a must-visit. Extra thanks again to Dylan for making the experience...
