Stayed at La Bourdonnais with my family, and I couldn't wish for a better hotel as it was a lovely stay!
Perfect location. Just 5 minutes away from the Eiffel tower, and just 2 minutes walk from the metro and bus stops. Next to a supermarket and close to some restaurants/cafes. More restaurants/cafes and souvenir shops as we walk down to the Eiffel tower.
Nice clean room. We stayed in a junior suite room which was very spacious, clean, and with various amenities (water kettle, coffee maker, etc.). A nice touch of welcome note, gifts, and candies for the kids too. Beds, toilets, shower, everything in the room was good.
Breakfast. Generally fine with delicious food, but we felt that the serving was a little bit inconvenient. The hot food was good but served on a small bowls in a chafing dish which was a little bit uncomfortable. Servings of juices, water, and milk might be better if they are served in dispensers rather than had to lift and pour the jugs. No self service coffee/hot drinks machine, order from the server instead. Anyways as I said, generally the breakfast was good and did not overshadow our wonderful stay.
Staff. Friendly and helpful staffs and they speak very good English. The reception staff always helped me when I got questions about my stay and trip, and the breakfast staff was helpful in explaining the menu and serving. Ps: please pass my thank you and appreciation to the helpful and friendly reception gentleman who was on duty on Wednesday-Saturday afternoon/evening.
Overall verdict. I paid a little bit more than €2,000 for 4 nights stay, and it was certainly worth it! A tip: book directly from the hotel's website. A recommended hotel and we will definitely return here if we ever visit Paris again. Thank you and best wishes Hotel La...
Read moreI enjoyed my stay with my young son at Hotel La Bourdonnais and would definitely recommend it. |• The hotel location is unbeatable: In a safe and walkable neighborhood, subway Line 8 is around the corner, multiple grocery stores around, and tons of different restaurants to choose from. Eiffel tower is appx 10 minutes’ walk away. I especially enjoyed my “Eiffel Tower View Room” and the little balcony. It added so much charm to my stay.|• I also want to highlight the wonderful hotel staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the cleaning crew. Special shout out to the gentleman on day shifts at the front desk, the entire morning breakfast crew, and the gentleman at the bar in the evening (sorry I did not get any of their names, but they all represented Hotel La Bourdonnais’ hospitality and quality of services!). |• Thoughtful activities: We visited during Easter break. The hotel arranged an Easter egg hunt in the lobby Sunday morning and kindly called our room to inform us about it. My son enjoyed the event with other young guests and was very proud of finding the golden egg. I appreciate the event, so the little ones do not feel they are missing out from what they would normally do at home! Additionally, I appreciate the little welcome candies and handwriting notes in the room. Hotel La Bourdonnais gave our stay a personal touch. |• Other qualities: The hotel exterior and interior designs are classic and artisan. The room is comfortable. Although the room has limited space (understandable), it provides sufficient shelfs and storage for clothing. Breakfast offers a variety of healthy food options and a thoughtful...

Front desk review: Upon walking into the hotel, the front desk staff who’s name was Xavier was very courteous, friendly and kind. He spoke perfect English and assisted us without hesitation. He even was able to give us an early check-in after our long flight to Paris. Throughout the stay, the rest of the staff was also very courteous with any requests asked of them. Thank you so much to everyone’s hard work and dedication at this hotel. Much appreciated and definitely made my trip great.
Room review: I had booked the Executive Suite with the Eiffel Tower view, I was given the top floor (6th floor) and it was a corner unit. Upon entering the room, the decorations were amazing, the room was clean, and the view was magnificent. For people viewing this review, please ignore other peoples who’s review says the room was small. This isn’t America where the hotels have large rooms. If you have ever stayed in any European hotel, this is the normal size of a room - which was plenty of size for my partner and I who were on our honeymoon. You don’t come to Paris to spend all day in a hotel. The shower had great water pressure and unlimited hot water. It even had a rack to heat your towels on so it felt warm and fuzzy after the shower.
Location Review: This place is located about a 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and even less to plenty of great restaurants. There is even a pharmacy just 2 minutes away that will do a Covid test for you. The location is also very quiet at night so you can definitely enjoy a good night’s sleep. I felt very safe walking around during the day...
