We went to see a play at the Théâtre Michel 2 weeks ago and were looking for a good place to eat. Considering the 4.7 star rating and other less expensive options nearby, we decided to dine here. On entering, the restaurant reminded me of the simple restaurants in Beijing where I spent 2 years working. You can look into the kitchen where the chef is making the handmade noodles behind the glass window. The staff were really friendly too. As a starter we ordered the fried Jiaozhis (Raviolis grillés au poulet (4 pièces), for the main course I had the fried noodles (Nouilles sautées au boeuf braisé à la sauce piquante 13.90 €) while my friend had the mutton soup noodles (Daomian?/ Soupe? de nouilles à l'agneau). Despite the good reviews, I have to say I was rather disappointed, for me it's just a simple noodle dish and doesn't live up to the hype. I found it a little too oily (normal for Chinese food) and bland, as did my (French) friend. The Jiaozhis are "just" Gozyas. Perhaps I have been spoilt by my years in Asia, but I wonder where the hype comes from. Still, for those cold evenings, noodle soups can be comforting and filling and the authentic atmosphere is a plus - so...

This is one of the best meals I've ever had. The noodles, the broth, the textures of the meats. In my personal Michelin guide, this would get top marks. We had one noodle-soup (spiced beef with wide noodles), one fried noodle (crispy chicken), some gyoza, and beer. The two noodle dishes were out-of-this-world. Beef was cooked perfectly. Broth was piping hot and ideally flavored. Wide noodles were tender and handmade and absorbed flavor perfectly. The chicken skin of the fried noodles dish was impeccably crisped and the housemade noodles were lathered with flavor and spice-mix. It was a meal that I instantly knew would stay with me. Wonderful service and a pleasant atmosphere. But it's the two noodle dishes that will...

WOOOOW! This is the BEST restaurant we've ever been to, Alex is so professional and kind! the decoration is beautiful, everything is so clean and neat, and the FOOD, so fresh, so tasty the sauces are homemade and amazing, we took the Gioza and saw how they make it by hand! ✋️

We took two spectacular tasting soups we've hand pulled noodles! Best we've ever tasted worldwide! 😋 Big portions, big smiles. The atmosphere is great 👍

If you want the highest quality and the freshest I highly recommend to come, they are very busy until 14:00 but you can come later and they're still open and you can enjoy very relaxing meal...

We had the lamb rib noodle soup, and they had the spicy chili crisp oil on the table. The lamb was great!
