We went to see a play at the Théâtre Michel 2 weeks ago and were looking for a good place to eat. Considering the 4.7 star rating and other less expensive options nearby, we decided to dine here. On entering, the restaurant reminded me of the simple restaurants in Beijing where I spent 2 years working. You can look into the kitchen where the chef is making the handmade noodles behind the glass window. The staff were really friendly too. As a starter we ordered the fried Jiaozhis (Raviolis grillés au poulet (4 pièces), for the main course I had the fried noodles (Nouilles sautées au boeuf braisé à la sauce piquante 13.90 €) while my friend had the mutton soup noodles (Daomian?/ Soupe? de nouilles à l'agneau). The chicken skin of the fried noodles dish was impeccably crisped and the housemade noodles were lathered with flavor and spice-mix. It was a meal that I instantly knew would stay with me. Wonderful service and a pleasant atmosphere. But it's the two noodle dishes that will...
