This place is great, I have been here many times and am never disappointed, I heartily recommend it. The proprietors are always friendly and welcoming and the ambience is friendly and cosy. It is rare you find a restaurant which has such a clear idea of what it is and how it wants to do it.
The food is classic bistro fare, simple and tasty with a short menu and a couple of specials. While the mains are good it is the desserts where the kitchen really excels, the pain perdu has found it's way to my table many times and the profiteroles are decedent and delicious. Definitely save room for dessert. The wine list is also short and good, and the kir royale is excellent if you fancy something to sip on while waiting for the other members of your party.

Read moreI came across this restaurant on social media and was curious because of the 4.7 rating. I thought this would be the hidden gem of Paris. We had the chicken and steak. We were really looking forward to this typical French dish, but to our disappointment, the chicken turned out to be very dry. We asked for the steak to be medium rare, but unfortunately, it was medium to medium well done. We didn’t say anything at the time because we didn’t feel comfortable addressing the staff directly. However, I still want to mention that I don’t understand why the food is rated so highly.
Waiter was friendly, she gave us a spot outside because we prefered that. The ambiance was also really good, but the food was not that good.. I am sorry to write this, but i have to give my honest opinion because i was so shocked about the high rating compared to the...
Read moreGorgeous, intimate, more quiet and lush atmosphere, music in low, lots of foreigners laughing and celebrating, you can hear your partner when sitting there without yelling, it is small and they don’t overcrowd it. The dishes came quickly. My fish was not worth it at all, and something I would make at home. My husband’s fish was great but too expensive. The chocolate mousse was stunning, the service was wonderful. You’re paying mostly for the atmosphere so don’t come too hungry unless you like to spend a lot… we came about at 78€ which is not worth the food we got. And yet it was the best French restaurant experience I had so far in the area specifically. I have celiac disease and unfortunately I suspect the mousse has gluten which gave me an immune reaction but that is a singular experience for those with...
