Marcel et Clémentine — Restaurant in Paris

were here saturday evening with a group, location was not very full. The Waitress was fully overstrained and additionally very unfriendly. First she tried to remember all orders by heart, but quit after some minutes and wrote the orders down - good idea so far..... One of two ordered steaks was very "welldone" instead of "medium" as ordered, after our complaint she first insisted that its "medium rare" , but then they changed it - ok, such things happen. Then one main course was forgotten - after asking for it, the just said "you did not order that" - but it was one of the first orders we placed. Later it seemed that the kitchen mixed it up ...ok, such things happen. But no excuse, no explanation , just the missing main course nearly smashed on the table conclusion : restaurant could be ok, nice ambiente (interesting wallpaper ..) but at least the staff working on that day should be teached the meaning of the word "guest"....no...

DELICIOUS. My girlfriend and I are on vacation right now in Paris and this has been the best place we’ve eaten so far. I guess it’s a cultural norm for French restaurants to close during lunch time so it’s mostly a guessing game of what’s open and what isn’t when roaming around

It was super lucky that we chose this place, not only because they were open but because the food was SO good. I got the Clementine (Chicken) Burger and I immediately loved it. Our server Jessica was so nice and spoke English very well, (which is comforting when you barely know any French)

I recommend getting the Gin version of the Moscow Mule which Jessica called the English Mule. It was amazing and I could barely taste the alcohol. I can’t recommend this place enough, so if you’re an English speaking tourist looking for a great place to eat with Artisan style food, THIS is the place.

Marcel amd Clementine is our favorite restaurant in Paris!! The food was delicious and the service was great. My family and I went to see the Sacre Cœur and we were hungry afterwards and we walked around for somewhere to eat. There were other cafes and restaurants to choose from, but we felt that they were unwelcoming. When we finally walked into M&C - we got a warm welcome from our hostess and server Jessica. Her english was perfect and even better was her personality. She was friendly and made us feel very welcomed. I had the steak special, my husband had the seabass and the kids shared a plate of fish and chips. We absolutely loved the food! We will be back!...
