COCKROACH in plain sight! BEWARE (Visited on 27/07/25)

I went to MoSugo Galeries Lafayette Gourmet today. Of course, it’s an overpriced restaurant (20 EUR for three small pieces of chicken), but we were hungry and curious.

The staff were kind—until the experience was ruined by a cockroach walking right next to the kitchen. Absolutely revolting.

What made the situation worse was that a waitress saw us react with disgust to the cockroach. She looked right at us, saw the bug, and just kept walking. No concern, no apology, no attempt to do anything about it, not even kill it. Completely unbothered.

For a so-called gourmet spot, this is unacceptable. Overpriced, mediocre food, and a visible cockroach in the dining area? I’m sorry, but if one of the restaurants in Galeries Lafayette Gourmet has this problem, I’m 100% convinced others might too.

I took a quick photo—obviously not HD, but I wasn’t about to zoom in on a roach after eating.

Bottom line: don’t eat here. Visible roaches near the...

Me and my friend was there, the sauce for the fried chicken made it taste sour and weird, but the chicken itself was quite good, seasoned well and juicy. The fries were either burnt or soggy, and the time it took for the food to arrive was way too long for the few bits of chicken and fries we ordered. The waiter we had was not very nice either, he seemed to be irritated every time we made a request and overall didn’t seem professional. The place itself is a nice place to sit and talk, being relatively quiet with nice decor. Service could have been so much better, a change in attitude was all...

Got the Menu « Fried » for 19,50 EUR: signature fried chicken with Cajun sauce, side was potatoes with spicey mayonnaise and drink was homemade Bissap. Chicken (3 chicken tenders on the smaller side) was good, but nothing special. The Cajun sauce was good, but by far not enough. The potatoe side was a joke, it was simply boiled half potatoes still in their skin with an oily something that was tasteless or maybe there was soooo little that it was impossible to identify a taste. The Bissap was nice and cold and refreshing. The presentation was very poor. Photo without filter shot on an...
