Be aware and stay away from Lindt store near the opera Garnier in Paris.
My husband’s iPhone was stolen from his coat pocket, Inside the lindt store.
The security guard was conveniently outside smoking.
The store was full of customers and employees and no one bothered to help us. When we asked the manager to show us the security camera footage he refused and furthermore he refused to give us his name, simply advising us to report the incident to the local police. When we stated to him that we will ask from lindt headquarters to compensate us for the lost iPhone’s value, He agreed to give us his name and his email.
We sent an email to Lindt headquarters the same night, Friday 16th of March 2023 but of course no one has bothered to reply to the e-mail, let alone help us either.
This incident makes me think that even if you were robbed, hurt or killed inside that store no one would bother to help. This is disappointing and heartbreaking not only because we are loyal customers of the specific store but in their organization in general. The loss of the iPhone left us with numerous problems, having to cancel credit cards, change passwords of bank accounts, being left with no communication with our families unable to even travel back to our country because we didn’t even have our boarding passes or flight details all of which where inside that iPhone.
As A European citizen with knowledge of his rights my husband will pursue his right for compensation by taking legal actions.
With this message I’m merely stating the fact so that other customers will be aware, be careful and if...

Lindt has many shops in Paris, but if you happen to be near Palais Garnier - Opéra De Paris hop in "Lindt" on Rue Scribe, which you can easily find on Google Maps.
When entering the shop, you are greeted with a complimentary chocolate, which is a great treat, especially if you are with a kid. The shop offers a great selection of chocolates - all prices and all categories. But it is not only chocolate that they sell - you can buy powdered cocoa, various spreads and toppings as well as hand-made and personalised chocolate. There is also a chance of purchasing some "souvenir" chocolates in the form of the Eifell Tower. You can also make your own boxes of chocolates as gifts. There are also ready-made gift boxes. You can also buy chocolates by weight.
The café, which is at the back of the shop offers a great selection of cold and hot drinks, as well as ice-cream and various cakes and waffles.
If you need some help, the consultants are really helpful and help you out with choosing the appropriate chocolate for your taste buds.

Read moreAfter a delicious meal at Tasty Burger, my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to something sweet, and Lindt Shop Paris Opera was the perfect spot to end our day. Located just near the stunning Palais Garnier, the shop is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and a complimentary Lindor chocolate, which is a lovely touch.
The store itself is beautifully presented, showcasing a wide range of gifts and chocolates. One of the highlights is the section where you can watch chocolatiers at work – it's mesmerising to see the craft behind each piece. They even offer the option to create a personalized chocolate bar, which is a fun idea if you're looking for a unique gift or treat.
At the back of the shop, there's a charming cafe, where we enjoyed a hot chocolate and croissant. I have to say, the hot chocolate was the best I’ve ever had—rich, creamy, and perfectly indulgent. The croissant was equally delightful, buttery and fresh. Service was quick, though the seating is limited, so you’ll need to snag a table as soon as one opens up.
All in all, Lindt Shop Paris Opera is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth in Paris, offering an exceptional experience for chocolate lovers. I’d definitely return, especially for the hot...
