Oniwa — Restaurant in Paris

Great Japanese restaurant in Paris with great meal offers. They have several different meals and combinations to choose from. We took the tasting set with extra skewers and sunomono salds. Food quality is great, salmon was perfect. Rice is not the ones I am used to see in Japan and Japans food, but it still was well prepared. I liked everything I ate here. The place it self needs some touchups, but that also is how sushi places in Japan tend to be so visiting here was like flashbacks to some Japan...

They shouldn't call this place Japanese but rather a pseudo-japanese restaurant. The noodles were neither ramen nor udon with no chewy texture as if raw flour paste (i.e. not al denlte). The broth was insipid with no hint of neither miso nor shoyu. It was also obvious that the tempura wasn't freshly fried. The sushi was at best average.
