Pita Tacos — Restaurant in Paris

Accidentally delicious pita break in the heart of Paris!

We stumbled upon this place while wandering around Paris, just looking for a quick bite — and we were craving a good pita. From the window, everything looked well-prepared and super appetizing, especially the gyros spinning behind the counter. That was enough to pull us in.

Inside, as you can see from the photos, the space is surprisingly large and quite nice. The service was lightning fast. We ordered the standard pitas — I had the one with cheese — and it was served perfectly, packed with flavor, and super satisfying.

Prices are very reasonable, especially for the area — actually pretty cheap for central Paris. Of course, it’s not French cuisine, but the quality is excellent, everything was clean, and it’s ideal for a quick and tasty break. Definitely recommended if you’re nearby and need a solid meal...

I was very hungry and chose this place on an early Sunday morning. The surprisingly friendly staff and unique menu allowed me to choose 3 types of meat to add to my shawarma for 10 euros. Oh, and a portion of fries to go with the great sauce. What is the size of the shawarma? I'm a big, hungry man who could only eat half of this great shawarma! The other half was eaten many hours later in some park. What will I do next time I come to Paris? That's right! I'll come here again! On a weary day in Paris, with my wife not feeling quite like herself, we stumbled Pita Tacos. What a fortuitous stumble. The food was delicious and the service was gracious. The gentleman who was cooking was patient and cooked our crepes the way we wanted. My wife left a glove in the store and when we returned to look for it, the staff helped in the search. The cook even offered us a bottle of water. We love the lower end of St Denis area and visited often during our two trips to Paris. If I ever get back, I'm going to Pita...
