SuperMian (面否) I tried the Sichuan beef noodle soup with level 2 spice, and it was disappointing. The broth was basic and plain—comforting, but with no trace of the characteristic flavor of numbing Sichuan peppercorns. Adding their chili oil only increased the saltiness, and the only spice came from the extra chilies later requested on the side.
On the positive side, the beef was tender, the noodles had a nice chewy texture, and the portion had enough noodles for two people. The service was good and relatively quick. The prices are affordable. However, this wasn’t enough to save the dish, which failed to deliver the Sichuan flavor and tasted like a generic beef noodle soup. Perhaps there are better options...

I also ordered some broccoli and was expecting spicy szechuan broccoli but it was bland, steamed and crunchy. The place gets PACKED the minute they open, so get there early. 90% Chinese patrons, very reassuring! Also, the waitresses didn't speak a word of English and their French was incomprehensible, so don't try and get anything other than exactly what's on the menu.
