This was a really unique experience for all of us. In a positive way! 😇 All the servers and staff were nice and friendly to us. They helped us understand the drinks more. The place offers more unique mixes of cocktails that we weren’t familiar with. The server was patient in answering our questions when we wanted to understand the drinks. The drinks were
a different kind of experience. Our companions didn’t like their drinks so much. It was named something like “McCurry” and had the alcohol smoked. It was a unique taste that some might like but some might really dislike. I had the Pont Neuf. It was the tastiest among the selection of drinks we had. Don’t expect to have the usual selection of cocktail mixes and I advice to be more adventurous here. The interior in the second floor is a bit unusual. All the seats are forming one very big circle. I personally found it interesting and nice but some of our companions were uncomfortable with it. Overall, I’d still recommend giving it a try. You might find to really like it like I did.

Superb cocktail bar! First off, the vibe is great. Low lights, comfy seats, nice music, and tasteful decoration. It is surprisingly spacious, with plenty of seats in its two stories. Second, the staff is fantastic. Not only are they friendly, they know their stuff and will be happy to guide you through your cocktail journey. Let them. The cocktails were delicious, surprising, and masterfully made. In particular, L'Ermite was outstanding. Without the staff's recommendation, I'd not dared order a cocktail with rhubarb and beetroot. And it was so worth it. Prices were in line with other cocktail places. Despite being a Monday night in January, there were a few people, far from empty. Perhaps over the weekend it gets more crowded. I can't wait to be back in my next visit to Paris.

You know you’re in for something special when the first thing standing between you and your drink is a rather large, very serious doorman guarding a mysterious wooden door. It’s like Narnia—but instead of snow and talking lions, you get world-class cocktails.

Once inside, the warm, cozy vibe hits immediately. The doorman (whose scowl could probably stop a stampede) kindly pointed us to three seats at the bar. And then—showtime. Both bartenders were shaking cocktails so furiously it looked like a duet from Carmen. Honestly, I half-expected them to take a bow.

The drinks? Absolute perfection. My Negroni was smooth, balanced, and just bitter enough to remind me I don’t need to text my ex. My companions went tropical with the aptly named “Tropical Storms,” which were so good they practically needed weather warnings.

The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a speakeasy: dimly lit, buzzy but not chaotic, and effortlessly cool. It’s the kind of place where you feel cooler just by sitting there—even if you showed up in sneakers.

Prescription isn’t just a cocktail bar; it’s an experience. Between the majestic doorman, the operatic shaking, and the dangerously drinkable cocktails, this is one prescription I’d happily refill...
