I would give 3.5 if I could! Positives: amazing staff & service!! drinks were superb, had a yuzu cocktail well done for the effort on dishes & presentation! Amazing to see interesting vegan dishes & combinations. nice location & vibe

Negatives: The food flavours sadly aren't there or are not fitting with soy sauce served on a side so quite overpriced for the experience at this point.

We were super excited to try this place after seeing incredible pictures and reviews, but I am not sure if we ordered the wrong dishes for us or the chefs that day didn't use enough seasoning as the majority of dishes didn't taste much at all. We had a tempura tempeh (that was the best one in my opinion but could use some more condiments/fresh veggies?), Tuna onigiri (didn't taste anything really, maybe you could make watermelon "tuna" instead of mashed chickpeas?), Omlette starter (ok, but not much flavour either, would not buy again), cucumber mint maki (very bland flavours that don't work well with soy sauce and dissapear if you add it) & a crispy chimmichury (nice texture but the little flavour if has doesn't go with soy sauce at all)

So sadly for the price of the dishes, we were expecting a little more of wow factor and a little bit more of the "asian" flavours I guess.

Hope that can be improved as it's such an amazing place &...

Nestled in the bustling Montorgueil district of Paris, BrEAThe offers a refreshing take on vegan cuisine with its focus on Japanese-inspired dishes. The exterior, with its sleek black facade and inviting outdoor seating, hints at a modern and chic dining experience. The presence of a vibrant palm plant adds a touch of natural elegance, enhancing the curb appeal. Inside, the restaurant boasts a stylish and comfortable ambiance, perfect for both casual meals and more intimate gatherings. The colorful tapestry and hanging red lanterns add a playful yet sophisticated touch to the decor. Given the pictures were taken during daylight hours, it's clear the restaurant is well-lit and welcoming throughout the day. The menu at BrEAThe is a highlight, featuring creative vegan sushi, flavorful ramens, and enticing small plates like "Seitan Crispy" and various types of vegan maki. They even offer delightful desserts such as homemade mochi and a chocolate peanut butter brownie. With options for lunch, dinner, and a special Sunday brunch, BrEAThe Montorgueil appears to be a versatile and exciting destination for anyone seeking innovative and delicious plant-based food in Paris. The combination of its prime location, inviting atmosphere, and diverse menu makes it a promising...

The place is beautifully set in a very quiet yet charming street. The decor is modern and stylish with plenty of natural light. Food is pretentious. Perhaps I did not have luck with the set three course menu but it was really disappointing, except for the dessert. The starter was shredded red cabbage with toasted nuts. Not very creative and not a good combination either. The main was rice, vegetables and tofu. All I could taste was the rice, which had a lot of ginger. No seasoning in the vegetables whatsoever. Thankfully we ordered some sushi and this I can highly recommend. Beautiful taste and combination of flavours. I also ordered a glass of white wine. There was hardly two sips in my glass. Service was very good and the ladies were very attentive and friendly. Dessert was delicious. I would recommend having something from the a la carte menu as the set menu is a huge disappointment. You can tell this is unfortunate as the sushi and dessert were great and I could see other tables having ramen and other dishes that looked delicious. I will definitely give it another try. Sorry to the lovely staff who looked after us so well. I didn’t mean to be negative but I thought it would be right...

Simply sensational. Just like Breathe Pigalle, the cocktails are superb. Creative and strong, not too sweet or ostentatious. The service is among the best I've had in Paris - fast, friendly and helpful. And the ambiance is joyous. The food, meanwhile, is on another level. It's even better than the exceptional Breathe Pigalle. Here everything we tried - more than half the menu - was delicious, and some of it blew us away. It all looks showstopping but more importantly there are layers and layers of flavour. If anyone tells you sushi can't be vegan, bring them here. It's not just some of the best vegan food I've ever had, but the best fusion food full stop. For all of this, it's amazing value. We had 24 pieces of maki and uramaki, plus a salad, two cocktails, two glasses of wine and pudding - about €90 for two people. Plus, unlike seemingly every other vegan place, thankfully there is no burger on the menu, hooray! Ce n'est pas seulement une excellente soirée et un repas d'exception, mais ce restaurant représente un nouveau standard pour la cuisine vegane en France.
