Great open but somewhat quiet location in a town square (streets nearby are closed on Sunday so it's extra quiet that day).

Service was excellent. I tried speaking French but the staff speaks English so they jumped in to the rescue.

Food was delicious! Coffee was quick and they had many kinds of fresh squeezed juice. For food, we shared the razor clams made with lots of fresh herbs (dill, parsely) and pomegranate. They have delicious (house made?) bread for the table. I have smoked salmon and eggs. The eggs were smooth and creamy. The potatoes were perfectly crisp and salty on the outside soft on the inside. The pickled veggies inside were delicious! My partner had the fish n chips and they're homemade tartar had fresh herbs. Dessert was nice. The tables around us (seemed local) and were having champagne. We'll have to try...

This is the second time that I have brunch at Edgar's and I wasn't disappointed. We booked in advance and had a very nice table with a sofa a comfy chairs which is very comforting on a Sunday morning. The location is really nice, on a sunny day it is sunbathed by the large windows and the déco is well-tended. We had the salmon brunch and it was good, the eggs were really soft and the dish is well balanced both in taste and portions. I was only a bit disappointed with the salmon : a bit too fat and not very tasty. I had the cake of the day for dessert and loved it. The hot chocolate is also very nice.

Overall I would recommend it but it's good not "exceptional". Also I wish they offered more options for brunch on weekends.

We’ve been here a few times and it’s usually good. Yesterday I signalled to a staff member that I would like to order. I think he might be the manager due to how he was dressed. He gestured back that he would come soon. Instead he proceeded to walk right past me a further 5 times where he tried his best to avoid all eye contact despite me trying to catch his attention again. The person I was sitting with already had a drink when I arrived and i wanted to order the same. In the end, after 25-30 minutes, I gave up trying to order and we just left and went somewhere else. Sure, it was busy, but to intentionally ignore a customer so many times while walking past is incredibly rude. We...
