By far the best restaurant we’ve been to in Paris (and possibly also elsewhere)! We didn’t make a reservation and just showed up around 19:30, luckily there was a place for us at the bar. The staff were all super welcoming and sweet, especially the bartender with whom we interacted with the most.
The food, where to start?! Definitely exceeded our expectations. We looked online for restaurants with good vegetarian options for ages, and decided on this restaurant specifically because of it’s well thought out and rounded menu. There are only three options for each course, and the menu changes everyday since they always cook with fresh ingredients. All the courses were well balanced and tasted amazing, the portions neither too big nor too small. And on top of that, the presentation was excellent (see for yourself, we attached some pictures).
Finally, the atmosphere was relaxed and high scale at the same time, the interior certainly pulled off a cozy, chic and rustic flair. We will definitely be visiting again the next time...
Read moreI’m so glad that I suggested to my friends to go to this beautiful restaurant! We all loved it. As a chef, I have tasted may be the greatest lamb dish of all my life that the taste of it is still on my tongue. The wine (Brouilly - Pierreux) we choose was a great pair with the lamb. It was a 5 star main course. The entrées was also good. The asparagus was so good. Also the tartare de veau was really nice. I liked the desserts but I would say after the star of the night (lamb) I would expect something more stunning. I liked the dessert with strawberries most. The cheeses were also great. The only negative review I will make is about the music. For such a beautiful restaurant and ambiance the american pop music is obviously not a good choice. As costumers like me who really cares about music and taste, its harmony fortifies the taste for...
Read moreA serene combination of homestyle warmth and haute technique. You’ll likely find a mixture of young couples and families, all basking in the glory of what this team of chefs manage to magic into existence in their tight kitchen: onion tartine, flaky, buttery and sweet; monkfish with clams that has a seafood flavour so potent it would stop even Jacques Cousteau in his subaqueous tracks; lamb done three ways, more tender than a first love’s kiss. And not to mention a team of waiters that were kind enough to treat an Englishman like a local.
If you close your eyes and imagine ‘dinner in Paris’, you probably imagine soft, flattering lighting, a deep wine list, and an array of dishes that both comfort you and delight you with a few new bites to remember. What you’re imagining, I’m very happy to say, is also a Friday night...
