I am sorry to see such a terrible decline. The service is completely haphazard. If you’re lucky enough to coincide with the really good waitress it’s still great but the food, whilst tasty, is as variable as the service. I’ve just been presented with a plateful of slow-cooked beef fat, allegedly “stracatto” de boeuf. The boeuf was in short supply but the sauce was delicious. The ratatouille was watery and hard work. I’m writing this now having given up on getting the table cleared let alone ordering a dessert as some friends or colleagues of the staff have come in. We had a confirmed reservation for 8 pm and arrived at 8 pm. The waitress with brown hair profusely insisted it was not possible to seat us as she gave the last table to a walk in. She did not try to find a solution to her own mistake at the expense of our plans. She and the staff were not professional and nobody stepped in to help with the situation. Who owns the place to demonstrate some customer management skills? We asked to speak to someone to help us find a solution, and her response was “who could you speak to? Nice, cosy place. Wasn’t clear on the menu what the vegetarian options were but the waitress was very helpful in guiding me with what to order! The food I ordered din the photo was €16.50 (three types of ravioli) I liked 2/3 of the types. Seemed expensive for the portion, and I’m not sure if it just Italian food that is quite oily but it was very oily.
