Restaurant Petit Saigon — Restaurant in Paris

Really nice little restaurant (the physical location is quite small). What surprised me most was how non-French the food was. I can't say it's 'authentic' Vietnamese (I haven't been there), but I remember vietnamese restaurants in Paris 20 years ago serving much blander food that was less 'foreign'. So this was a very pleasant surprise.

Of course, I was also surprised that the one dish I ordered was 100% meat (hmm, bacon) with no vegetable in sight, and was too large to really order a second, vegetable, dish. Oh well, it...

We were arrived around 1.30 pm, past the lunch time but still managed to get seat for 4 people. Nice little place to get some traditionel vietnamese food! They have an affordable lunch special where you can get a main dish with a starter or dessert plus a drink for 13€. Staff is nice and fast and speaks french, english and vietnamese. Spring rolls and Pho are delicious and portion sizes of the main dishes are very generous.
