We had a lovely brunch here, just a short walk from the Panthéon. The place itself has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, the kind that makes you want to linger a little longer over your coffee. It’s not a huge café, so the space can fill up quickly, and you might have to wait a little while before getting a seat. But honestly, the wait is worth it.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly throughout our visit, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Service felt personal without being intrusive, and you could tell they put care into what they do.
As for the food and drinks, the toast was excellent—simple but done perfectly—and the coffee was just as satisfying. It’s the kind of straightforward yet well-executed menu that makes brunch feel both comforting and special at the same time.
If you’re in the neighborhood, especially around the Panthéon, this is a spot that’s definitely worth stopping by. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy hours, but once you’re seated, you’ll see why it’s popular. Friendly staff, cozy vibes, and good food—hard to go wrong with that...
Read moreThe food was good! I had the pancakes with fruits (quite fluffy and sweet) and they serve the maple syrup on the side. We also had eggs (my sister enjoyed them) plain croissant and croissant with ham and cheese. We drank filtered coffe (I think this was the highlight). The staff was really helpful and we got a table right away (arrived there around 09:30 with 3 people). However, it got full pretty quick (the place is quite small) and there was a small waiting line. For large groups this might not be the best place but up to 4 people I think it can work. They also have a nice take-away window in which you can order things and walk towards the Phantéon. We ordered a brownie to take-away and it was tasty. The street where the Café is located is quite calm and on Saturday there was a flea market near by. Ah, I noticed a funny sticker on the tables: No Laptop in the Weekends or during lunch time (12-14) during Weekdays. I guess they want to avoid overcrowding the Café with people working there during...
Read moreHands down 5/5!!! We went to Jozi cafe for breakfast and ended up leaving with a full stomach cause we wanted to taste as many things as we can! We started with the Panier gourmand which consisted of a pain au Chocolat (like a chocolate infused panini), a croissant and 2 tartines (2 slices of baked bread with butter and homemade jam). All of them were awesome! Honestly, they disappeared from our table in a few minutes! The pain and the croissant were so soft, buttery and tasty, we couldn't believe it. Then we tried the chai carrot cake with cream and cheese topping. Interesting taste, similar to how we do it, we liked it! And last but not least, we ended our breakfast with two fresh juices "jus Bien etre" (apple orange carrot ginger), refreshing, fresh and such a pleasing taste and feel. The table next to us had a pancake with fruits... It seemed so tastefull ! Expect some waiting outside of you want to sit instead of having your stuff to go. It's next to the Pantheon and it's well worth the...
