Sabai Monkey — Restaurant in Paris

What a great find this restaurant was! Delicious food and lovely staff. We had the octopus to start (yum!), followed by the king prawns with lemongrass and kafir lime, and the green chicken curry lasagne. The king prawn dish only had 3 prawns on it, which was disappointing for the price (but maybe that’s usual in Paris? 🤷🏻‍♀️), but it was very tasty. We wanted to try the lasagne as it seemed such a strange combination. We were not disappointed. You would think that it shouldn’t work, but it does! Really delicious! We loved the little extra touches such as an amuse bouche after we’d ordered, and a traditional house-made Thai digestive at the end of our meal. Would definitely recommend...

Perhaps had some doubts given the high reviews but it lived up to the promise. The flavor profiles match what we have gotten in Thailand. The Tom Kha, Pad Thai, Green Curry Chickent all had the right flavors. So often when we have Thai it resembles what you get in Thailand but misses the market. These folks have the right ingredients. We walked 4 Kms, pàst Notre Dame to be at Sabai Monkey when they opened for dinner... So worth it. The most excellent Spring Rolls ànd Chicken Satay we have had... ever.
