I recently had the pleasure of dining at Saveurs de Savoie in Paris, and I have to say, my experience was nothing short of excellent. In fact, my friends and I enjoyed our meal so much that we came back for a second visit during our stay in the city.
While the restaurant itself is a bit on the small side, the staff more than makes up for it with their friendliness and efficiency. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. Our server was incredibly attentive, taking the time to explain the menu and make recommendations based on our preferences.
But it's the food that really stole the show. Saveurs de Savoie offers a delicious array of classic French dishes, with a focus on Savoyard cuisine. We started our meal with the fondue au fromage, which was simply incredible. The melted cheese was rich and flavorful, and we enjoyed dipping bread and potatoes into it. We also tried the fondue boulangerie, which was equally delicious. The bread was crispy and fresh, and the melted cheese was the perfect accompaniment.
Overall, I have to give Saveurs de Savoie a glowing five-star review. The staff is friendly and efficient, the food is incredibly delicious and representative of the best of French cuisine, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It's no wonder we came back for a second visit, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining...
Read moreAfter having a bad experience at a restaurant not far from here, we stumbled upon this bistrot and boy were we glad we did!
Upon entering, we were greeted by Gabriel who kindly informed us that they were closing in an hour. We complied and we proceeded to order the escargot, steak and raclette charcuterie and two glasses of house wine. The food was great! Escargot was fantastic, raclette was an enjoyable experience, and the steak was perfectly cooked to the medium rare my friend had liked.
We’re so grateful to the staff but especially to Gabriel who was patient and kind to us despite ordering a lot of food whilst walking in an hour before closing. We kept our word and finished just in time for closing. Gabriel, thank you so much for the memorable experience! It was truly one of the best meals we had on our trip...
Read moreVery much worth it having lunch at this fine 5e arrondissement resto. With a formule /flat rate charge of $21 per person one can choose either entrée and plat principal or plat principal and dessert. Bottled water is extra. My daughter had a soupe à l’oignon and a confit de canard that she rated as perfect 10s. I chose the round of hot goat cheese on two crispy delicate crackers served with fresh salad greens and thin apple slices for the entrée and a gigot d’agneau/lamb for the plat served with béarnaise sauce, veggies and potatoes. Both were delicious and servings were generous. Ambiance was very interesting with images of Frances’s kings and presidents past to present. Our table was beside a photo of a seated Serge Gainsbourg holding a cigarette. We plan to return and try the other offerings before...
