If you’re looking for a place where you’re treated like an inconvenience rather than a guest, look no further! This restaurant should be renamed ‘The Attitude Tavern.’ We were ‘greeted’ (using that term very loosely) by an unfriendly server who seemed more interested in rolling his eyes and gossiping with the bartender than actually serving us. Ordering an extra bottle of wine felt like a crime in his eyes, and the judgment was almost tangible.
And let’s talk about the chef — who looked like a Viking but sadly lacked any sense of hospitality. Howevery the culinary vharm was on point, and the food was good.
Save your money and go somewhere where the staff actually treats you like they want you there. Unless, of course, you’re into rude stares, condescending eye-rolls, and feeling unwelcome. In that case, it’ll be the perfect night out!

Read moreI've been to Flocon several times and am never disappointed. The ambiance is warm and relaxing. The food is delicious, but not over-wrought. The high quality ingredients do a lot of the talking. From having spoken to the staff, I understand that nearly all or all of the produce is sourced from France. The staff are very welcoming.
Antoine and Jasmine were not only friendly, but also informative about the ingredients and preparation. They each gave accurate descriptions of the wines on offer and great advice on wines to pair with each course. If ever I had a question or wanted more information they made time even in the middle of the dinner rush.
The staff offer the sort of welcome one would receive from old friends; that is something that is very rare to find and it made a big impact on the evening. Highly...
Read moreThis restaurant is on the Michelin guide, however good news stop here. The starter was OK - egg with mushrooms and a green and an anchovies sauce. However, it was served in a wooden bowl, which, although waxed, was quite gross. The beef fillet was of good quality, however the pepper sauce was too strong and killed the flavour. The french fries were sloppy and came in another wooden bowl. The fish was of good quality, but the mushroom sauce was not a happy match. Finally, the desert - like a baba - was a restaurant version of a slice of lemon cake that you can find in any hipster café in Shoreditch, London. The cream cheese mousse on top was overwhelming. Wine was OK, but nothing remarkable for a place on the Michelin guide. The bill was 110€, in line with Paris but above what you find...
