What a nice and beautifully persian inspired modern decorated place!
But are the other important things at the same level?!
Lets see:
Hospitality: (worst part!) There are two waiters in the restaurant and each of them weird in their own way but the shorter median guy is somehow rude, out of respect and I should clearly mention him as a "Bache Porrou" kind of person as we know in Farsi! People with such attitude are not simply fit to hospitality industry, they better be in backstage not the frontline and in touch with customers!
Serving: the portion is fairly good sized but an avg Persian expects more rise. The traditional plates are a nice move that resembles new wave of restaurants back in Tehran that they are also took on a midern inspiration from "Qajar" art and culture era of Iran.
Taste: in general, Kebabs we tested so far were really good. The koubideh needed to have more mix of meat (not fat) and salt as material, but comparing to various Koubidehs in Paris this is among the very good ones, DjoooJeh Kabab was great as usual and the Barg was perfectly grilled. When we irdered the mix plate, expected to have two round tomatos not two half ones. The onion and sauerkraut mix was perfect and I wished the whole side dish of teh plate was that one! :( ;) Some steam cooked vegtables was in the pkate as side dish that tasted awful! Bitter and even mood downing vs the rest of the dish! Finally with such juicy plate of Kababs, I wish there was a Lavash bread beneath them to make the joy more pleasant!
For dessert we tried "Napoleoni Shirini" with persian tea which was not bad! Just not bad! Nothibg to amaze you! Normally in a persian restaurant in europe try not to order dessert because its the weakest part of Persian culinary unless you are in a real 5 star place that is able to show you the magic of persian pastries and desserts!
Value:
When you pay at least 40-50 eur per person, you expect way more politeness and professionalism in service and behavior of people. That's a thing yet persian restaurants in Paris should learn. Simply by visiting restaurants with high level of hospitality and goodwill behavior ambience.
Conclusion, with such budget or higher you can have better persian food experience elsewhere but this place would be among the top if it fixes the remaining issues and now having one of best decorations to feel good about and suggest it to people. BUT, if I have some non-Iranin friends to showcase them the persian food. I won't bring them here, firstly because of poor hospitality of people working here due to lack of traning maybe and the food overall taste has yet some way to go forward and the menu should be reworked on pricing vs the value that is offered specially on...

Read moreWe went there to try it out as we leave in the neighbourhood. The place serves Persian cuisine and what one notice from the very beginning is that there is no climate in this place (what would be nice is some big persian photographies or music).
When we got the menu it was also hard to understand it: one could order “one kebab”, say the chicken one, for 20€ but also Soltani kebab (which was explained as two kebabs of different types put together) for 26€. What would be helpful is to explain how much in size is “one kebab”.
The meat we ordered was extremely good and there is nothing bad I can say about it. However, this is not a place for having a nice dessert. Baklava was already gone (it was 8pm…) while the other options we chose were far from amazing.
To sum up, very good spot for having...
